STORM Short Range Damage?

    Hi,
    Short Range Damage is less than 8m right? Storm max casting range based on my observation is 8m.
    Therefore Storm will benefit more with Short Range Damage Increase?

    Storm doesnt get affected by any range dmg%

    By checking if I get any difference in damage by equipping range dmg%
    We call it testing ^^

    somehow it became "official" that magic with cast time ignores range, but it might as well have been a bug :p
    the in-game info about short and long range was updated by now and there were multiple updates with "minor bug fixes" but no new tests were made about the range of magic...

    I checked it like 10hours ago while trying to record a video but thrashed it as newbies pming me lfp ruined the background.
    Javelin became 2k from 3k while storm remained at 4k ticks if I equipped jiangshi hat.

    Theres no way detail like that about a stat will go as "minor bug" it would be posted with detail like "short/long range damage+% does not work on certain skills"
    I found a legit bug on the aggro of mercs and reported it and still they said its working completely fine lmfao.
    If that unusual thing about mercs is not a bug then this is definitely not a bug XD
    Try reporting if you dont believe me

    ok, then it's probably some weird design...

    i also thought that the dayly quest emblems have a bug because they are obtained after 1, 3 and 6 quests instead of 1, 2 and 3 but they replied that it is working correctly.
    the truth is that the emblems are unlocked one after another, so there is a new counter for each emblem which counts 1, 2 and 3 quests :p

    ill be 2nd to confirm short range dmg doesn't effect mages cause i have a dagger for my mage with -3%short range dmg and the dmg diff is still the same

    welp there u go xp, i'm using it too and there is no diff as far as i can see.. other than a little dmg increase w/matk1%

    Your damage wont be increased or reduced by any short/long range %
    There you have your answer. I will also record a video later if you want when I am free.

    i tried it with my magic gunner and the plasma gun (long range +3%)
    only instant skills like javelin get the bonus, arrows and lances don't.
    the passive long range mastery is the same.
    i guess i will get one of those guns with short range damage when i get impact =(^.^)=
