Would you be so kind to specify the making of Revita? Like until what proficiency level I stop on doing Revita I, II, II and so on.. ..?
    Thanks in advance :)

Just make what is highest and closest to your difficulty. Que huge builds using all meds you own in one go for best return. You get less experience with the same recipe as your prof levels up. I still make rev6.. I wouldn't stop since I need the wood for statting. If I ever get serious with chasing after 4/5 lock I think I'll make hp mithril before hp ori. Currently I'm 170 capping my luck smith so it can farm ori ore from mobs and hopefully save me spina.

Edit: I stopped making rev5 after it told me I couldn't gain experience from making it.

HP mithril won’t help you. Its item level is too low. If you’re already at proficiency level 136 (NOT difficulty level) from making Revita VI, then your only option is the orichalum ore>orichalum recipe (and orichalum>hp ori if your difficulty level is 320) until prof level 150 for 4lock.

A general rule is that the max proficiency level for alchemy you can get from a recipe is +11 over the recipe’s ITEM LEVEL (once again, not difficulty). For example, Revita VI has an item level of 125. Once your real proficiency level reaches 136 (you can see this value in the production screen of your stats), the recipe will then say “too easy to craft”. The proficiency gain does slow down dramatically as you reach the +11 prof level over item level cap.

As a side note, I think in smithing the prof cap is either +15 or 16 over smith item level before a specific recipe stops giving prof exp. it’s been a while since I checked though.

Yeah I know hp mithril would still give low if any experience for prof.. I was hoping to see just a bit more experience gained compared to rev6 since hp mithril has a higher difficulty. Mithril ore is also quicker to farm compared to the fn boquets for rev6. The most important limiting factor that prevents me from using oricalcum is that I'm almost always dirt poor. It is hard (and expensive) to satiate my hunger for stargems. :(

Unfortunately difficulty has nothing to do with how much prof exp you get. Like I said in my earlier post, exp is solely based on the recipe’s item level. Difficulty is just the gateway of “can you make this yes/no”.

In this case, HP Mithril only has an item level of 100 even though its difficulty is 160. So you would only get experience for your proficiency level up until 111. In comparison, Revita VI has an item level of 125, so you can raise your max prof to 136 with that recipe.

If your total prof level is past 136, then your only option is ori ore at this point, sorry!

I've tested within the past half a year and both bs an alchemy prof have the same rule, when your prof is 11 levels above the Item Level you stop gaining prof exp.
