Super confused

so I am a luck Mage. Have 137 luck and 80 int. I get about 3 stacks of nc with full storm in an hour. Now I got someone with only 10 luck saying he gets 5 stacks per hour. What's going on? With 137 luck, I was expecting significantly higher drop rate. But it's worse than someone with 10 luck? Can anyone explain?

 

i see only 2 options:

1: he farmed with a party and used a drop rate enhancing book, and you farmed alone.
2: he lied

 

actually its possible 5 stacks an hour with 10 lucks, i have 7 lucks and i can get 4-5 stack depending on the party, full md-user-storm with insta cast and no afk, maybe your pt was slow caster, cast-stand-charge-stand-cast-stand and maybe chats all the time
if thats the case just leave pt and find another pt

 

Lol yeah I don't know. So luck does work? Or it's not that much worth it to keep adding it if I already have 136. It's my farm char, so I don't care about damage or anything. I do have 80 int.

 

well if u dont care about damage and then stop raising int, and keep on adding luck, the more the luck, the faster u get ur nc, hv fun farming

 

I got 140luck and lvl10 drop skill still my drop is lower than 50% drop book
Its definitely higher than mage with no luck so yeah
Maybe it was your party

 

137 luck and 3stcks per hour is really sloww, I suggest checking your pt members next time if they are spamming their storms properly. Some members only spam like one storm every 30s, most of this type of people have only half of their attention to farming while the other half is for doing something else, so I highly suggest kicking their butts next time.

 

Another possibility:
- He bought leveling tickets

In any case, 3stacks /hr is too slow...
From my experience:
- No luck, No ticket : 4 stk/hr
- No luck, ticket: 4-6 stk/hr
- 180luk, ticket: 6-8 stk/hr (closer to 8 actually)
- 180luk, ticke, book: 8-12stk/hr

So yah, definitely your party...

 

full Luk mage pt (2+hit kills)=Lowe Kill rate=less Drops over all
u using Luk mage+3 one Hit Killers=higher Kill rate=more Drops = more rare Drops due to luk
