General non AMPR quick combo: Astute > Shadowstep 400 MP save > Quick Aura swift > Warcry cons > Trigger slash cons > Phantom slash smite 150% damage output motion speed boosted > any ender.

 

Ive been following this build, except i took phantom slash for dodging aoe skills instead of warcry and i must say it is really fun to play. Its really skill intensive in the sense that u need to keep animation cancelling and its really nice and flashy when u spam the skills. However im still having trouble procing the 2x auto att animation cancel after the spinning slash combo, sometimes i miss the window and only proc 1x and have a really long auto att animation set in motion. Any tips on how i can proc the 2x auto att 100%? Also i noted that u got 4000 hp, i bought the same stuff but only have 3000 any idea why? X.X

 

This is a long combo.. Specially with roga and other flinching boss.. This will mostly be cancelled

I really wanted to make a dw tempest in my ways.. But i just played under a month yet.. Im no expert need advice

 

I did the basic 1mp combo.. Astute impact Phantom shadowstep.. Kinda works but doesnt gve much damage.. 2k per ticks mostly or less

 

You should just follow the guide, The Spinning slash combo sort of refreshes Proration on the Twin Slash, So if u use it as a starter/Spam in inbetween, Asuste/Phantom slash can deal like 10k+20/30/40k. Most ive seen is 40k on twin slash on Arachea(normal)

 

Anyways i was also wondering if i should add reflex with the remaining skill points i have (From not getting warcry), Im thinking of using it as the combo starter for my Phantom slash(For dodging boss aoe), do you think its a good idea?

 

Reflex affects dodge but not evasion.. I read somewhere that even you got high flee wc increase dodge.. Doesnt affect evasion.. Its more like item/skill based..

 

Well i guess your right.. Im new bout this auto atk cancelling.. How does it work?

 

After the Astute combo in his guide, let the autto attack proc 1-3/4 of the hits, Then u can walk away once (1x cancel), After his Spinning slash combo you can do this twice, just try to walk away after the 1st Auto att, and again after the 2nd auto att. The tricky part is that u must walk away quickly at exactly the moment when the auto att dmg procs for the 2nd auto att(usually when u see ur sword going down on the enmy) . The good thing about this is that it negates the really long animation of the 4th hit, so u can chain ur combo better and almost immediately while getting Mana from AMPR and some dmg from the fast animated auto attacks.

Spin > Astute (cons) > Flash Blast (cons) > Trigger (cons) Phantom Slash (Smite) > Shadow (cons)
5mp Burst with spin dps, Phantom dps, animation buff from Trigger on Phantom, Shadow Ender for ampr.

Spin is first for Knock back, it's purposefully placed to allow you to have more control over your character, you can choose to continue the combo by moving forward with astute, or change back to autos or another combo or skill after you use spin.
Problems:
-Spin has a rather long animation
-Most people don't use flash blast
-Kinda long

But if you can get the whole thing off it's not too bad damage wise

Nope; all Xtals will not affect the sub weapon regardless of what they do.
