Tank: 1H Sword + Shield (LVL 150 cap)

Aggro % should be used. It doesn't have to be 100% but the more you have the longer you can hold aggro without spamming. In a way I found this more beneficial because pure tanks do little to no damage and we can use this to interrupt bosses when needed to save pt from aoe etc... also to prorate too. Helps overall party damage.

 

Ok first i have 97 aggro equip...
So lvl 10 guardian is the best huh? Good thing i save my sp xD...
I only like sanctuary because it makes me feel more tanky as it decreases dmg by alot...and good for me since i dont really bring revs in some boss hunts especially if not a serious one...
Anyways...because i can keep aggro almost all the time...qd is not much usefull...so should i reset it?
Hmm...there are a handful of people i know that can out aggro me and they are not even pure tanks xD...
Ill try making my guardian lvl 10 then...

Yeah...i am also doubting my 2nd combo hahaha but still i dont get my mp completely depleted...while i can still spam about 4-5 per game...

 

Well I know aggro can be difficult but it should be possible without guardian too with that much aggro. I know casting anything can make you lose aggro because of the time it takes. I suggest maybe changing your 1st combo a bit too. The combo you don't use guardian in put trigger slash as a save and rage sword swifted right after. That usually gets me aggro right away. Fast combos are a great way for sword tanks to keep aggro which is why I posted the ones I did.

Well i have no problem holding aggro against sword fu and gun fu...
But there are still some of other builds being able to out aggro me...one of my guildies can do that and he's a bow user :v...he says it was because of his double smite combo :v dunno...xD i hated him hahaha
But probably its because of my net -_- like ayame said...

I think I know what it is. If they're an archer then they're probably spamming smoke dust. I have encountered that sometimes too but my guardian is only lvl 6 at the moment so I'm not sure if lvl 10 makes a difference. Either way it's a high aggro move and archers when using it should probably use sneak attack with it

 

I kept my second combo and made guardian lvl 10...
Now i only spam that combo once...i do not spam my first combo...i just use normal attack until boss die...against staff fu and sword fu...they didnt even hit 50% in tank rank statistics...cool xD

Quick question about guardian and damage reduction does guardian damage reduction stack with sanctuary and once you get Guardian is sanctuary completely obsolete very curious about this I want to optimize my build I just capped today and wanted to know if I should get rid of sanctuary in replacement of guardian or if Sanctuary has a better damage reduction then guardian

 

I thought sanctuary hit any one in pt who is inside never used guardian is it like sanctuary were it's an area on ground

 

Get both to max they are necessary for pure tank build

 

So it's an area around u... but it follows u like mana charge buff would but it won't go away after getting hit I would guess and I'll have to get both. Is there a way to use both buff in a combo that won't destroy my mana pool lol jw

With the 50 Dex that I have accuracy isn't bad. I don't miss a lot. Using an accuracy potion on nightmare and ultimate also helps too. Drills would not work with this build. It's for 1h
