The best add for tank right now is probably jiangshi hat. It provides 15% physical and magical resistance which is better then tons more hp cause it helps reduce the dmg you take. But if you want hp it's a decent equip.

well part of the tank job since we can't do dmg is to prorate to increase overall party dmg. With low aspd it's kind of difficult even more when we need to use td dress with the -500 aspd. With candela you can cancel that -500 aspd so your left with giga speed potion. Or when you use brigandine you can get over 1200 aspd with candela and giga potion for really nice proration.

If you equip twilight dress it would cancel its negative aspd.
Also the 100def and 100mdef from corroded captain reduces no dmg as her def/mdef is already past 250
The 500 mag/phys barrier are cool but not worth 4m spina (idk what its current price is)

Maxed binding strike
Added advanced guard for more guard rate to reduce dmg taken.

Empress combos:
Main and aggro holder:

Astute > guardian (save) > rage sword (cons)> binding strike (swift) > trigger slash (swift)

For second phase:
Flash stab > trigger slash (save) sanctuary (cons) > astute (swift)

 

Hm i just realised that brigandine Npc version has better resistance while only giving 400hp less than the boss version

 

Yep brigandine NPC is better while twilight dress Drop is better.

 

Jiangshi hat or unicorn helm against bk nightmare?

Between Jiangshi Hat and Unicorn helm I like Jiangshi more. However is getting Candela a must have for this build if Im running with the hat? I ask because its hard to find the hat with a slot. For unicorn helm Ive come across a few with a slot.

 

Well Candela basically helps you with better proration due to the aspd boost and gives also slightly Hp. It is quite helpful therefore to cancel Td-Dress nega. But with brigandine as arm u wont have much difference especially when u use gigapot anyway.
However u dont need to invest spina for add-gears in the first place as u can just farm enough material till u succesfully craft a slotted one at Npc-BS.

 

I see thanks! Luckily Zaldo crafted me a slotted Brigandine so I can add Arcoiris to it. All thats left now is to get toy hammer.

 

Iconos will add more hp than arcoiris till like lvl190+ cap just saying.

Brigandine NPC NS itself better than a maxHP vit aggro armor with arco (If same refine) so dont really need to get arco, you can go with cheaper xta like tortuga or minotaur. But yeah if you really want the best set I would recommend iconos as it gives much more hp than arco.
