Tank: 1H Sword + Shield (LVL 150 cap)

I said min +D because my arm is +D, add is +C and shield is +B XD

Yeah just lvl up more and you will be fine.

 

I'm currently all +c and have 19k hp with total aggro 77% , I think except for boss blue skill , most likely I won't have any problem that the boss will run from me. Just tested p.def last night , for single hit boss it works pretty well but boss like tapir is... uh... Well , most of the time still Sanctuary doing the job... And I have 16mp to spam whatever skills to hold aggro and heals , that might be the advantage of my current build.

I use arcoiris , 2 areana , Corroded knight captain , nightmare potum .

I don't have boss armor only customised one. And using jianshi hat , toy hammer, dark f. Bangle .

And skill much like others except having mage skill that increase range for normal attack(8m).

P.def only to 5.

 

Max p def its main use is not just blocking but coz of it healing 10% maxHP at lvl10 (cap 2k) even if you miss a few hits from tapir you will be able to recover the dmg immediately. Tapir isnt a problem at all I see it as a weak boss infact you should try using brigandine and bkod shield next time to see what I mean ^^, the bosses that do pose me problems are the ones that do almost undodgeable fractionals like aranea on nightmare gem run sanctuary wont help there at all but p def will.

Hmm... You ran to a wrong forum (lol)...
You are 1H(staff) not 1H(sword) , play style is totally different I suppose...

But true , staff tanks exist and it actually doing pretty well. Well , I do agree tapir is a weak boss as I can do it without revita also.

P.def works well with Corroded knight Captain , and areana... Not strong also , worst thing is the little spiders instead of its fractional skill as we can flinch it(most likely).

But I don't rely much on P.def as mini heal is a more practical skill to use .

Oh , btw , running is also a very important thing ... So if there is fractional attack(except ranged combo) , rely on p.def .... I would rather flinch or run.

 

My tank can use 1h too if I wanted to as all its skills are no limit ^^
Also its not wrong forum as I was showing the use of p def practically which is a part of this build as well. I have tested at aranea nightmare with so many tank players almost all of them died even with sanc, mini heal and interrupt, its easier said than done. It might be easier now with revita5 but back only revita4 was possible it was just plain nightmare itself.
I have both mini heal and p def and nope p def is much more effective for healing coz its instantaneous and spammable unlike mini heal that has drawn out animation, mini heal would only be better if your hp is above 30k as it got no cap. Just take my word for this and get it to lvl10 you wont regret it at all you have very high mp to accomodate it as well.

Tbh most vit stats as main can tank. But not all tank can hold aggro esp if you tested it to dps with normally got high aggro even tho theyre prorating.
