Tank: 1H Sword + Shield (LVL 150 cap)

Not all builds will be the same. Everyone has different preferences that work for them. What's on here is just what has worked for me and advice I've gotten from many while playing toram. That's one of the nice things about the game. You're not stuck doing things one way. Whether it's a 1h, staff, knuckle for tank they will still have the same role.

I don't expect people to copy this exactly. Make what works for you. This is only here to help you get started and well hopefully get more people into tanking cause we still need more in the game. XD

 

It would work just as well as twilight dress for dark resistance. You can use either one on dark bosses. Just depends which stats work better for you

 

Hi @athena__, I try using your build into coryn club's skill simulator and apparently for the current lv cap, we're at least 4 skill points short (190/186). Do you have any suggestion about which skill we shouldn't prioritized?

 

I'm not sure why it comes out shorter there but I can assure you I haven't added anything extra that I haven't been able to put myself. If you unlock the emblems like getting attacker, breaker, tank and support 10k times you should have plenty. I haven't even gotten all yet. Still missing attacker rank one. But I guess if you need to take out a few skill points I suggest taking them off the guard skill. You don't have to have those but the guard skills increase guard rate which will help reduce damage taken sometimes.

It says guardian skill reduces attack. Does anyone know how much by?

 

5% ATK and 10% MATK lost for each member that is standing inside the aura at lvl10.

 

Oh 5% that's not that bad.

 

Isn't it only the caster?

 

Yeah forgot to mention only caster gets reduced ATK for every party member standing on aura.

 

Anyone know if Ampr insreases as trigger slash levels up? If it does. By how much?

 

Ok thanks that's still handy. Also I heard there is a cap on attack speed for 1h. I was told it's like either 1300 or 1500. Can anyone confirm?
Oh and has anyone tried using strike stab or deadly spear from the halberd skills tree on their 1h's? Is it better then say tempest? Sorry I'm asking alot of questions. I'm making a dps tank and want the best damage he can do.

Yeh I was 2nd guessing the halberd tree but someone suggested it.

 

And i think there's an aspd penalty when equipping a shield? Which will be removed with lvl10 shield mastery?

 

Strike stab higher than tempest even for 1h especially if you are full str.
It can get 90-95% critical rate with astute and new boss shield which for me is higher critical than on halberd. Just dont add CRT personal its useless for it.

Strike stab 44k x3 = 132k+
Tempest total = 93k+ even if I count no graze it is 112k
Both are smited 150%
