The best DPS staffs in game

What are the top DPS staffs?? My stats right now is full INT and few DEX. I wanted to know how much shina I'm going to have to save and what they are. I'm only lvl 40 atm, only been playing Toram 2 weeks now, I haven't seen all the staffs in game yet. IK there's a lot more out there that the blacksmith can't make for me. Some expensive af too. Thanks!

 

If you are looking for staves dropped by bosses that you can farm at your level, well you can try to farm LV96+ bestions @ Blazing Graben. They drop sage staff w/ base atk 109, tho you are gonna have to form your own pt and have high level friend/guildmate mercenary. Or ask for help farming them in a PT(get a high level guildmate or a friend). You will get killed, but even if you are dead, you still get drops when other people in the pt are still alive and are still farming.^^

 

I use to do this with new guildies, but haven't got the chance to do with him. ^_^

The most expensive dps staves are player crafted 2slotted staves, and the price varies depending on the refine and the customized stats. As a beginner I suggest that you save all the spinas you get and don't buy at all any items from player and just get boss/mob drops. When you hit high lvl and got some spinas, get the best weapon(s) around that you can afford (so you must save a lot so that it'll be a one time purchase) also purchase a mage armor (int7%matk7%) it is way more affordable than weapon, if you're lucky there are some posted ranging from 150-300k slotted ones . For headgear just wear nonslotted ones that will fit what you need, get a slotted one if you have xtal for it, for the special gear go for philosopher's ring 1slot that can be acquired from land under cultivation mob pojo(not sure about the name but its a chicken). That's the mage items that you'll be wearrin for the long run

Note: This staff stats are what I would say high quality:

1. Int7% Matk7% Int+14
2. Non original element: Element(Ex:Fire) Dmg to opposite element(Ex:Earth)14% Matk7%
3. Original element: Element(Ex:Fire) Dmg to opposite element(Ex:Earth)14% Matk7% Int4~7% (for int7% are too hard to acquire, too gamble, nonetheless this stats is the most expensive one, if I were to sell em)

Element Stength/Weakness:
(Stronger against>weak against) Fire>Earth>Wind>Water>Fire
Light<->Dark

Thanks bro, great advice. Ill keep that in mind, that's ppl 2 now saying to save and use drop gear, I knew it'd be beneficial to save, I see how important farming is in the game . Very helpful for explaining things to me, this would be my first MMORPG experience, I'm a FPS gamer (COD and CS:GO) so much of the abreviations are new to me (rpg lingo, stats, skills) I'm getting it tho.

I've been enjoying my Muscle Tillman 3 ring (whatever u call it), a friend gifted me with, said it'll come in handy for me and great for players that use magic. I concur the fact and 2nd that also, good stat booster for me atm. I do hear about philosophers a lot, one of the better rings for magic I assume?

 

my farmer mage is lvl 80
she's wearing elemental magic device/staff, twilight dress NPC version, nightcap, philosopher's ring with mp+200 xtal
for neutral boss i'm using bexiz staff boss version
not the best equipment out there, but enough for my casual farming

 

Nice. I saw good stats on the Bexiz' s in CB.. 500K and 1M too expensive for me atm. Maybe do drop and not player made one like u did.

@WindSlash My clan leader guided me through some a couple drop areas, picked me up a Sage Staff w stats and a Shield w stats. Didn't cost me a penny.. I like that option. Drops seem tons better than player made, they're expensive if they have slots/stats and drops can get lucky and score a slotted. Another question is, how well are the bs's gear? I have 3 mat to complete a garb I'm wondering if sometimes bs made gear sometime come w slots..

I'm starting to see a lot more elemental staffs in game now. So I take it those are the best and most powerful?

 

Yes npc blacksmiths can create slotted items (1slot in particular, though i believe they can't do 2slotted ones, most npc crafted 2slot items used piercers). With regards to the elemental staves, yes they are the best in my opinion .

 

I'm glad that worked out for you. :3 Not a lot of new people realize that they just have to ask around for help, or just find friends that have very good DPS Mercenaries to farm for drops. These people end up resorting to begging since they think the stuff on CB is the only way to get good things. =m=

The NPC Blacksmith's versions of an equipment tend to be better than those dropped by non-boss monsters. Some Boss drops are the best version of an equipment, but sometimes there are NPC-made versions that are better.

But really, the only big downside for NPC-made gear is getting slotted equipment... The chances of getting slotted NPC-made equipment... Let's just say it's like gambling on a casino slot machine: If you're lucky, you get a slotted thing in 5 tries. If you're super UNLUCKY, you get a slotted equip in 16 tries. But if you are willing to farm the heck for the mats, they are sometimes worth it.

Edit: I realize I didn't explain how we can farm for drops using mercenaries. -_-||) I hope that Low level players realized this: If you have an Attacker mercenary in PT + an Attacker Partner Character you selected to accompany you, you dont actually need to use skills to kill non-boss monsters. Auto-attack to lock onto a monster, then run around while the merc and partner kill it for you. xD You only need to perform 1 hit/miss and the merc and partner will start attacking the thing you selected.

This method can even kill slow minibosses like Metal Stinger. (takes a long time to kill him tho. lol)

 

Haha nice. Yeah I saw beggers asking 4 shina in chat b4. I'm a gamer. Sometimes I pay for orbs 4 avatar chest. I like party battles, I like to join teamd on ultimate and try n get 1st place attack. I like to be in the fights and not watch them, lol

I never thought about using mercs for farming, I did a lot of that also myself and recently help of my leader in my clan. I enjoy the game playing its why I wondered about weapons and ask questions. I also see ppl in game not doing anything but living life in Toram. Hey man, do whatever u want. Just b positive n honest, and I've heard warnings about scammers too. I'm sure ill get a yeast 1 before I stop playing.

Oh and btw, this game gets better lvl50 lol the combos and certain ones in an order looks cool visually. I did one that could have never stopped going and I was using mp and still had time to refresh and continue combo.. perfect for farming big groups of enemies.

 

I wish I could delete this thread. Now playing Toram, I understand there's different weapons for different builds for different situations. I'm a FPS gamer and I'm used to purchasing/obtaining OP weapons, so that's why I ask this question to be begin, pardon me..
