From my opinion, this build still can be used
You just need add the stats based on the latest level cap, use latest equipments like 2nd Anniv Bowgun V with +13 stats, Anniv Dress, and whatever suitable for the build like the iconos xtal upgrade roga, proto upgrade the warmo

 

Not sure if you're asking whether Gun Fu is outdated in general or whether this build specifically is outdated.

General: Yes. Gun Fu is considered outdated by the sort of on-trend people who are now building Halberd + Arrow builds for their Snipe needs. This is partly because a large number of newer bosses react badly to Tumble / Flinch / Stun, so the breaker benefits of Fu combos are more questionable/debatable nowadays, and partly because a growing number of bosses interrupt long combos. Gun Fu is super weak to interruption.

Specific: Yes. Granted, there haven't been any (relevant) new skills released since the build was published. However, the July 2017 game update redid all shot skills, which brought some consequential changes -- for example, Snipe does Armor Break now, which affects both Heavy Smash (positively) and Shell Break (negatively). Skill damage was also heavily rebalanced, so (for example) Bullseye lv10 outdamages Paralyze Shot lv10. Between those changes, the higher interrupt chance, and boss delicacy, you'll want to completely reconfigure your combos. (Snipe screwing with Shell Break is the big one.)

 

This is the best build for dps sniper i've seen in the world, in the way as i really want to be a sniper :')
