I steal all the ranks except attacker with this build

 

If I only had 120 skill points, what would be my skill build? I'm trying to save up 50 points for Smithing skills so it'd be awesome if anyone can help me out.

That indeed is 1mp unless you switched the places of sanctuary and heavy smash or changed anything else.

 

eeee how much mp is heavy smash?can i change it to smthng els(1 mp retains)? or shld i just cancel the final skill?btw thnks a lot for answering

 

Heavy smash is 4mp you should try making your own shorter combo if you want coz for me that combo takes too long.
I personally used holy fist + guardian(save) + sanctuary(swift) + earthbind(smite) for bosses that cant be flinch/tumble/stun.

 

looks good but i rly dont understand why a shield bash(1mp) cons consumes more mp than the heavy smash. thts so weird xd but ill try to use urs, my skill points is kinda tight cos i use it for armor crfting too :v

 

Assault Attack (1MP) > Guardian (Save) (6MP saved) > Sanctuary (Cons) (4MP, becomes 2MP due to Cons tag, then subtracted from the saved value, leaving 4MP left saved) > Heavy Smash (Swift) (4MP, subtracted from saved value, leaving 0 MP left saved, making this combo a 1 MP combo)

If you used Shield Bash (Cons) instead of HS (Swift), it would make Shield Bash (1MP) become 0MP, leaving 4MP saved. The 4MP that was not consumed, will be added on top of the last skill's MP cost, making Shield Bash a 4 MP skill.

This is what I think happened. Feel free to correct me for any mistakes, as I'm still getting the hang of the combo tags since returning to the game.

 

Oh so thats what you did .-. You REPLACED heavy smash with shield bash. I thought you just added shield bash at the end.
You cant just replace a 4mp skill with a 1mp skill and expect for it to stay at 1mp.

I'm a new player and following this guide to the best of my newbish ability. What lvl of a skill is Guardian in Shield teee? Cause I don't see it there.

I should have come across this guide before starting, selected my stat as CRT and wishing it were MTL now *sob*

 

Mtl doesnt add any resistance it only adds ailment resist which is useful only for a handful of bosses, I would rather add agi for dodge or dex for cspd.

 

I just read every 10 MTL adds 1% ele resistance, is this wrong?

 

Wrong or outdated info it doesnt add any resistance.
Resistance is a special stat only available from gears.

 

MTL sounds really useless then -_-

 

I believed gems selling from NPC Nelfon (Figor's Manors) gives both elemental resistance and elemental damage to party at the same time?

 

Technically I mean its not available from any main stat like vit/agi/int/dex/mtl
Aside from gears, gems and potions are obviously there.
