    Thanks for the reply, it opened up a few doors for me. It seems that guard strike is more for dps/tank balance chars (shell shield+ guardian+ guard strike). Plus i also need to change my gears from n.mask to f.protector (guarduan almost takes foreva to cast, needing me to cast voke first for guardian to be usefull)

    Time to "remake" my tank (again), it will be capped as santa passed by.

    Is there a way/combo i could use and cast sanctuary fast using this guide?
    I made one @lv87 now. And it's awesome. Specially for cast timing, however 70% of the Time i take dmg before sanctuary effects..

    Please help..

    Use this instead:-assault attack+guardian(save)+sanctuary(swift)+holy fist(smite)
    Though sometimes it takes more mp due to some weird bug whenever last skill is smite
    So you can use this too:-assault attack+guardian(save)+sanctuary(swift)+earthbind(swift)+holyfist(swift)

    Do you know that if you max guardian you will generate aggro so high that you will not need quick draw and its mp recovery?
    You should have learned the details about every single skill that prec said was important and should be taken before hand
    Its necessary to know why every "must have" skill in a build is so important, the 20 skill points you wasted on quick draw could be used to learn lvl5 earthbind and even lvl1 triple kick which could further expand the possibilities of new combos
    Just blindly copying other builds wont help always sometimes you also need to try different stuff out yourself.

    I tried following builds from @Precaria in the beginning too; I started about 6-8 weeks ago; I began following his builds from my 1st week, but they just didn't work for me; a moment I thought I got the hang of this build: So I focused a lot on improving it; but once I tried it with some of my new guild members...They stole all the aggro of me and the only thing I could do is trying to get it back through provoke :(

    Right now I'm in the middle of trying to make my 'own build', something that really depends on my own style of playing; (a very bad style of playing though :p)

    So what am I trying to say: Not much actually; just don't forget that a game is supposed to have fun with; if you have more fun using a bad build then using a good build, I would go for the former.

    I totally agree guardian by far is the best aggro generator. I redo my tank, im currently at lvl 70 tested it with 2 gunfu guildies and whack the daylights out of gyrille. And i must say, at lvl 10 anything i take cannot be separated to me. I still need a lot of work on my combos tho.

    Well, 80% of the time i am being kicked out of the pt because they say that guardian decrease their atk power. Tho i only had it lv1 so the area of effect is small like 1meter. But i confirmed this from skill tree thread.. that def is for pt but decreasing atk pow is for the caster only.

    The attack reduction on caster only occurs if the party members stand on your aura,
    There is totally NO reduction in the party members atk stat, i have tested it with many parties
    Those guys that claim that guardian reduced their atk, tell them to quote me on forums so that i can show them screenshots :)

    If attack reduction occurs to the one who casted the guardian while party members are inside the aura circle, do they have to stand inside the aura to recieve the def and guard rate bonus? The guardian aura is not like sanctuary that can be left behind as u go (i find it troublesome during pillar golem runs since the dang thing moves so much.) It is very well stuck to my bod just like any other sheild buff.

    Yes they need to stay inside the aura and i dont think the guard boost applies to party members, dmg reduction for pt members and guard boost for caster though i will retest
    Though i noticed guardians buff remained for 4-5sec after you leave the aura dunno if this is legit or just lag.
    Well if the boss moves as much as pg/empress sanctuary will be as useless as guardian for reducing dmg both skills only have 5m range at lvl10
    The main speciality of guardian is dmg reduction for melee fighters, i have had my party members tell me that they only take 1.3k from sg's giant aoe with aegis+guardian buff
    For long range attackers it will be fine if you just keep the aggro from them ^^

    I can smell the rise of mage support tankers at this point. But brawl tank have more utility than vit+int mages and more of the spearhead and bulwark of the party during boss hunts. This build guide needs a major overhaul.

    Still need work on my combos tho. All i came up is 2 sets.
    1.)the main non interrupt buff/aggro gen combo (all u need is to get close, buff guardian and sanctuary fast, and burn the remaining 2mp on the save tag. And ur target will love u to bits and turn u into bits too)
    2.)full on interrupt which is much slower and a tad longer coz sanctuary need to be recast and guardian is a huge save bait. If i dont use guardian an alternative is save-swift-save-swift combo set up(since all i need is the effect and care less on my single digit critical damage to be reduced any further, wonder since using drills(ruin golem app)+magician ring+mad doc garb+magic scarf+hachigane. Yup, i look like a hokage leading the war to the great beasts)

    Btw, i was planning to get priest skill Gloria for extra def and guard rate buff. Will it work with pure vit-mntl tanks like us, or it only works best on int support dudes?
    I know that bless is affected by matk and int, and the 2 holy skills are both great for knucks and staves.

    I know im at the edge of making the ultimate tank evah but i need more info.

    Also, ived tested my skill setup on the coryn club skill sim. And used 154 sp on the whole thing(i hope i can say the same thing in my account since im still lacking emblems)

    I have a question, i have 2 slot weapon for tank. what best crysta can i add ? im looking for guard rate or guard power, maybe both. thanks before^^

    Definitely useful. Especially if you actually have decent attack support.

    My tanking is low key, as I generally play solo. So I have to balance ourt survival and damage. So I rely on a mix of Guard, Evade, Def and HP.

    I think, personally. And this is just opinion from experience playing and not based on any hard facts. Is that I think tanks should not purely focus on HP maximising, as 1-hit KO (fatal damage) and fractional damage override the benefits of being on the extreme end.

    On that premise, I believe there is room to diversify. As increasing your chance to avoid and minimise damage could have benefits over an additional increase in HP. Say for example, as a pure tank you're 90% likely to have been hit by a dirty '1 hit KO', over say 60% for the loss of maybe a bit of defence and HP.

    As at the moment, I have around 5000 HP. And I have had no problems tanking most bosses even on hard difficultly tanking Black Knight. Though, who knows, in future updates. Maybe the pure tank will be a vital part to overcome extreme boss situations.

    Good work though, definitely something to think about for myself.

    Exca golem 5%guard rate/power second xta just go with any blue xta which gives aggro/hp.

    1.) shield bash+guardian(save)+sanctuary(swift)+shield canon(swift)
    2.) I use two seperate combos for guardian and sanctuary for most bosses
    i)smash+guardian(save)+shell break(swift)+triple kick(swift)
    ii)sonic+sanctuary(save)+heavy smash(swift)
    iii)smash+guardian(save)+sanctuary(swift)+shell break(cons)+sonic(smite) <--- if you want them together u can add shield bash (cons) between if you want to add stun
