Unfortunately I could only "like" this post one time T.T thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and stories. I know that there are players out there who have, will have, or are having these same situations. I know I did and still do. I am so happy that there are so many wonderful positive responses especially yours. There needs to be a place for solace and sometimes just talking about it helps. XD I would say welcome to the virtual world but iam sure u been playing for a while. Yes when I first joined I was just like you. Completely looking for friendship, love etc. eyes wide open like a baby duck... Then one relationship went by then another then another...honestly I regret dating period on torum. I do want it but I regret it.. after its all said and done people get hurt and next thing you know one little ripple turns in to a raging ocean. My advice just find friends. Relationships are ok but don't jump right in just because you feel like ure lonely. We all get lonely. I do wish I never dated anyone then maybe I could have stayed friends with them all and been a lot happier and not always wondering if people hate me. We are all human but love sucks chicken feet and if you want it even in a game it does come with its share of drama, arguements, people disappearing etc. I found a awsome guild, friends, and new people that love me for me not in the love love way lol. maybe someday I'll find Prince Charming~ lmao no wait caterpie is my princess <3 love u long time!!! @CarpeDiem buahaha

Thanks for sharing your story! I'm sort of at the point too where I don't consider relationships anymore other than friendships. The player I had mentioned before finally came back & I was relieved to know he simply lost his phone and wasn't quiting or left because of me. He is a player who I consider a GREAT friend and wonderful ig hubby /(^x^)\ Honestly, if not him and if we ever had drama...I wouldn't care about looking for a new bf.

i also have a story back then (approx 1 decade ago)

While im still playing online game in PC. there was a girl who really want to meet me irl after we ve been friends in game >_<
however she was like the game idol at that time (3-4 full friendster accounts of her fans +-500 each).. im just a lil prick with mediocre half ass face :v (for some ppl here may know my real face)
and... skip skip after playing the game for 2 years.... finally we decided to met irl for the first time
i found out from our conversation she said that she liked the way i treated her ig bla bla bla....
unfortunately i didnt know that at that time she was trying to confess to me >_<
and then i said the hurtful words that i dont like her (like i care that i will be hunted down by those 1500 fans)
and suddenly a drama thread is appeared in a forum and some ppl spilled my real name (and i really dont like that kind of thing bec its involving me)... ALL of her followers is in rage against me T_T and hunt me down in game......(my guildie suffered bec of it) it was quite a trending topic that time in my country(now the forum is dead)
after that, her friend called me that she was crying few days bec of that moment.. and asked me to do something.
so i tried to call her adn try to comfort her as i can, until she is sober enuf to be into a good conversation and end that drama things
and now she is my friend ^^

moral of the story... your personality is reflected in your way of Roleplaying your char, other ppl are seeing it too , and what i like about MMORPG is MMORPG required interaction between people, that makes socialize is one of the fun aspect in playing an MMORPG.
