    Yup..

    I take Rampage at lv 10..., ;)
im glad that while in rampage it's still can proc additionnal magic attack each hit..,

and u can play trick on this skill... ;)
if u using punish ray (halberg skill) - it will make sure that your final hit go crit..., (just using it before the 10th hit)
    *already tested

but the downside : Power Wave doesnt work on Rampage at all..., which mean u must change ur playstyle from range to melee (i hope someday in the future.., Power wave gonna work too on Rampage):D:D

    with my current magic knight...
I dealt about total 3-6K normal attack each..., with additional damage proc about 1.6.-2.5K each hit
    with 3 last hit crit : about 3K-3K-14K :)

I’ve been building a Magic Swordsman since I started the game and have gotten to what I think is a decent build so far. Im trying to find a way to get more damage out of the build. More damage would be nice but damage was not my priority when building it.

255 DEX (Full Dex) - I decided against going half STR/INT or DEX/INT. My reasoning being that doing so would make me sub-par in both areas. Although I do still have stat points and am considering if I should put them to INT or STR. Also thinking of half DEX/STR but I’d need to learn more about Crit Dmg before I give it serious thought.

    My stats are:

    Level 102

    HP 3065

    MP 602

    ATK 760

    MATK 370

    DEF 226

    MDEF 206

    HIT 408

    FLEE 37

    ASPD 833

    CSPD 1282

    My equipment:

Weapon - ilwoon (cuz I havent figured out what would be better and the health boost is nice. Still dont know what Fractional Barrier does).

Sub Weapon - Magic Brooch (cuz I like how it looks and dont know if having an MD with an element would make my magic that element.)

Armor - Magic Swordsman Garb Heavy Remodel (cuz I like how it looks, though I am aware that my aspd would be 102 points higher if it were the default form and even higher still if it was the Light Remodel. I blame Asobimo and RNG for not giving me good Avatars so I dont have to worry about looks).

Add. Gear - One-Winged Headband (cuz my CSPD was already high so I started focusing more on ASPD. The problem Im facing is, I need one with a crysta slot so I can put in a Gold Skeleton but all the ones I see with slots have weaker boosts than the one Im using, most notably the ASPD boost which is 300 down from 400. Should I aim for 400+300 or is the 300+300 the best Im going to be able to get?)

Special Gear - DEX Talisman III (cuz I wanted that 400 MP and didnt really know what else I should get)

    My Skills:

    Blade Skills

    Hard Hit 5

    Astute 5

    Trigger Slash 6

    Sword Mastery 10

    Quick Slash 10

Thinking About (War Cry 10 and the passive after Quick Slash, 10. Or would it just be better to max out Hard Hit and Astute now, then get the other 2 later?)

    Magic Skills

    Magic Arrow 5

    Magic Javelin 5

    Magic Lances 5

    Magic Impact 7

    MP Charge 10

    Chain Casting 10

    Power Wave 5 (7m)

Survival Skills (idk most of they proper names)

    HP rest 5

    Max HP 10

    MP rest 5

    Sober Analysis 10 (MP recovery)

    Battle Skills

The Atk Boost 10 (idk its proper name)

    Combos:

Astute>Hard Hit>Magic Impact>Trigger Slash = Standard combo. Flinches and Tumbles. Ends in Trigger Slash for MP recovery.

Hard Hit>Trigger Slash Javelin = Considering swapping with Impact. Tbh, Im just trying this out cuz idk what else to do.

Magic Arrows>Hard Hit>Trigger Slash>Magic Lances = Good opener and due to the range difference between Arrow and HH, I can “cancel” the combo if I need to. Lances are mostly there for style points

Magic Impact>Trigger Slash = For situations where I want to activate Trigger Slash but dont want to commit to combo.

how would nothing be better than half? :p
reduces fractional damage taken by the indicated % once every 20 seconds
your sword decides the magic's element
heavy armor is recommended (for str, int, dex)
or don't remodel if you don't like it.
if you know that you will use it for a long time, it's worth the effort to aim for the craft version.
active skills should always be mastered as soon as possible.
the mp cost is always the full price, so you want to get the full effect for it ;)

Well if I go half STR then, without knowing exactly how it works, Im guessing I'd be doing only about half as much crit damage as I could be. Same with INT and Matk/MDef & DEX and CSPD/ACC.

But what's Fractional Damage? Does it have a tell (like Red-Zone Atks)?

    Crap

Sweet. Guess Im in the clear on that.

What do you mean by craft version? Does the craft version give +300-400 ASPD?

But would it be better damage wise?

I've gone down the other path....

I've gone int/dex for my magi knight. It's definitely strong pulling breaker rank with Blade/Dagger/Magic. And in some cases taking attacker rank.
Which is probably due to proration destruction... sketch-1502146009651.png Screenshot_20170808-095829.png

fractional Damage is neither physical nor magical, it ignores all defence and resistance. instead it deals damage based on your HP.
there are 2 types of fractional damage: the scale type and the fatal type.
the scale type deals damage based on your current HP, so it gets weaker as your HP decreases. any attack can use this type.
the fatal type deals damage based on your MaxHP, so it can work like instant death if your HP is not full. so far, only red zones used that type.
most gears are dropped by monsters and can be crafted at the Blacksmith.
the dropped version has weaker stats than the crafted version from the Blacksmith.
(and if there is a Boss that drops it, the boss version is usually the strongest.)

in this case, the one with 300aspd is dropped by monsters and the one with 400aspd is from the Blacksmith.
the other stats are most likely also different, like DEX+3 and DEX+4

TL;DR.....well, a few pages. SOOOO much info to go through and look over.

I've been on and off this game for 2 yrs and finally hitting it hard. Just at LVL 33, I'm looking for a Pala/Drk Knight hybrid. I'm not sure how this game sees/calls those types, but that's something I'm looking for. From the list in pg1, what would be the best route to go to achieve this?

Once i have that, I think I should be able to figure out what armor to start working towards. Wish I found this post earlier so I didn't have to ask here.

for a Paladin, there are 2 variants: the knight-type and the priest-type.
the knight-type would use str, dex and vit and use support skills like mini heal, recovery and sanctuary.
the priest-type woud use int instead of vit and use priest skills, mainly bless and gloria.
since swords don't get a bonus to priest skills, 1h sword + shield is the best option to get the most benefit for yourself when using gloria.
protection, aegis and guardian also work very well.

for a dark knight i have no idea...
i only know the dark knight from final fantasy, who consumes his own hp to enhance attacks with dark magic.
and he can use a skill to drain hp from enemies.
i think strong combos with tenacity combined with high hp regeneration comes closest to this...

I guess the knight type is where ill look.

I come from Final Fantasy 11 so my two classes were Warrior/Paladin. I wanted to do Warrior/Dark Knight.

Did you have any ideas for a magic swordsman with a shield?

like a 2h, focus more on magic defense rather than magic attack.
    that's all ._.

i guess it's easier to use Priest Skills instead of Magic Skills to make it a Paladin

So, to get what I'm looking for:
    1H /Shield
    Warrior with Knight skill
    Support Skill
    -Mini Heal
    - Recovery
    - Life recovery?
    - Sanctuary
Focus on STR, DEX, VIT (in that order)

As for attack skills, use the Runic or spellblade examples? I'm not sure with to use. Either way, it looks like I'll have to build a new character vs resetting my skills on my first LVL 38 character. Or is it still low enough to try it?

THen there is the issue of gear. I'm guessing I'll be using heavy armor so I'll need to boost that skill up a bit as well. Also ensure that the armor has attributes like HP/MP gains. Then toss in support gear with status prevention or MP boosting effects.

UGH. I smell farming for spina.

    neither of those :p
    it's a completely different design

but the skill effect would be the same as the enchanter/spellblade blade skills (same weapon type).
Warcry of Struggle requires low health to be effective, so Trigger Slash would be the only way of mp recovery for your build.
if you didn't learn any unusable or unwanted skills, you can do it :)
since Shield Skills raise defences and HP and have resistance buffs, it is also possible to not remodel armor and keep your original speed.
heavy armor is only a must for defenders without shields and those who love high guard rate to trigger the Guard Strike skill.
