    Hi guys, im a newb in making threads and builds so sorry please understand that this is not a professional work, also my english is not perfect for it is not my mother tounge o_O. If you have suggestion(s) please tell me I need them :). Mage knuckles are probably all around toram, and theyre labeled as Staff Fus, a brawler wearring a staff, this mage knucks are physical attackers so this thread is not original plus some threads about mages even place knuckle skills on mages though optional, yet I want to know if this theorized mage build of mine is possible to be on par on PARTY PLAY (not solo) against arrow and dagger mages. So with the Skills, we have:

    Magic Skill Tree:
    Magic: Arrow 10
    Magic: Javelin 5
    Magic: Lance 5

    Impact 7
    Magic: Wall 5~10
    Magic: Blast 5
    Magic: Storm 10
    MP Charge 5~10
    Chain Cast 10
    Power Wave 2

    Total SP used: 52~74

    Knuckle Skill Tree:
    Smash 5
    Bash 5

    Shell Break 10
    Sonic Wave 6
    (NOTE: for 8m distance)
    Total SP used: 21

    Survival Skill Tree:
    Safe Rest 5

    HP Boost 10
    Short Rest 5
    MP Boost 10
    Total SP used: 30

    Battle Skill Tree
    Magic Up 5
    ~10
    Concentrate 10
    Total SP used: 15~20

    Priest Skill Tree:
    Holy Fist 1
    Total SP used: 1

    BASIC SKILLS = BLACK

    IMPORTANT SKILLS = RED
    HIGHLY OPTIONAL SKILLS = GREEN

    Overall total: 119 SP
    used (Excluding Greens); 146 SP used (Including greens)

    The reason behind why I keep SP usage low was to reserve some SP for lv150 skills which are near to be released (idk the date but its near lol since its already cap145). Also this build CAN BE a good blacksmith dps build (for it can still learn blacksmith skills, but NOT SUGGESTED though). Also it can be breaker, tanker, and dps at the same time and can be freely modified for it has a lot of spare skill points and also shell break gives 400mp recovery (when grd break hits) making it use mp charge much lesser during long boss runs. Sonic wave, smash and bash are kept at lv6&5 respectively because some boss are not Flinch, Tumble and Stun friendly. As for the Stats:

    Int 255 rest Dex(Root A) OR Int 255 rest Vit(Root B) OR Int 250 rest tec(Root C)

    EQUIPMENTS:
    Weapon:
    Player Crafted Int7%+14 Matk7% Staff 1Slot; Elemental Staves: Element Dmg to Element14% Matk7% 1Slot(♦Grecia (not budget friendly) OR ♦Imitacia (for +200mp))
    Armor: 2slot Player Crafted Armor Int7%Matk7% (for Int+Vit); Int7%Matk7%Aggro-10% (for Int+Dex) (If you used ♦Grecia, go for ♦Scrader&♦Ifrid; If you used ♦Imitacia, go for ♦Scrader&♦York)
    Headgear: Devil Hood 1slot (♦Ancient Empress II)
    Special Gear: Philosopher's Ring 1slot (♦Scrader OR ♦York)

    Query: Why not Iconos?

    Iconos Gives 2k HP which can be substituted by using HP increasing potions (Vita Plus III gives 1.5kHP) and scrader has +300HP and the item crystal set have 2 scrader hence giving 600HP which is almost in par with Boss Roga which gives 1kHP. Plus Scrader is cheaper than Boss Roga+Iconos. EDIT: Thanks to Vocal~ san for informing me that scrader has -20%phy rest. so its much more feasible to use York for those planning on being Int+Vit. For Int+Dex, goodluck on dodging xD (sorry don't have solution for that).

    Note: It is verified that knucks have -15% matk when worn as sub so as a solution, this build won't be using sub Knuckles but will wear:

    Root A: Dagger (Variety Mage)
    This one will have the highest utility for DPS types for dagger skill tree cointains a lot of good skills for proration. The recommended skills to get are:

    Dagger Skill Tree:
    Throwing Knife 5
    Spike Darts 5
    Gatling Knife 5
    Poison Knife 1

    Total SP used: 16

    Root B: Shield (Melee Mage Tank)
    Shield is always a good sub weapon for mages for a lot of threads show that such as Precaria's thread on Angelus and SirEgg's thread named Gandalf the Gay Shield Mage, hence its not original and more on adoption of their concept.

    Shield Skill Tree:
    Shield Mastery 5
    Force Shield 10
    Magic Shield 10

    Protection 10
    Aegis 10
    (NOTE: They are optional but if you decided to get one, get both not just protection)
    Total SP Used: 25~45

    Root C: Shield (Fighting Smith)
    This section will talk about how to make your int blacksmith be sufficient in leveling up by him/herself so that you won't be using NCs.

    Smith Skill Tree:
    Process Material 1
    Novice's Anvil 5
    Craftsman's Anvil 5
    Blacksmith's Anvil 5

    Refine Equipment 5
    Create Equipment 10
    Careful Creation 10

    Total SP Used: 41

    Combos:
    I am not an expert in making combos and I haven't tested them yet so they are just theorized at the moment. Also most of them are for variety mage for I don't plan on using shield as sub weapon personally but you can just tweak them a bit to fit shield sub build.

    Long Range Double Smite Combos
    Sonic Wave> Gatling Knife(Save)> Spike Darts(Consec)> Impact(Consec)> Storm(Smite)> Poison Knife(Consec)> Arrows(Smite)> Holy Fist(Consec)
    100 mp (14cp)
    NOTE: Chain Cast will be wasted for this combo if spammed repeatedly so this sub combo may be used to make good use of Chain Cast.
    Spike Darts> Lance(smite)> Holy Fist(Consec) 400mp (4cp)

    Arrow> Gatling Knife(Save)> Spike Darts(Consec)> Lance(Smite)> Impact(Consec)> Storm(Smite)> Holy Fist(Conse)

    this one is similar to @Bago2 's Avatar build.
    but it focuses more on Martial skills compared to yours.

    This is possibly a good build since knuckles can prorate very well if you use aggravate and strong chase. then use short fast combos with storm.
    regain MP with Shell Break. CC Bosses with stun tumble and flinch.

    this could work well with Knux Main, MDev sub. although you lose some power from magic skills coz u get only utility from MDEV. compared to using staff that gives damage boosts.

    Thanks man for the response though knucks sub md has high penalty as to storm damage and lower matk, this build will focus on dps breaker i guess xD

    nope. knux has 4 matk per int. same with Staff. the only thing you miss with this is the damage boost staff gives to magic skills.

    I have similar build but with different skills, it works well but its not really good for non-tumble/flinch/stun friendly boss, even at skill lv5 it can still be dangerous :/ (unless u wear flinch/tumble non avaliable equips)
    rather than scrader wouldnt york for special gear be better? and iconos instead of scrader for armour
    scrader have physical resis-20%, two scrader=physical resis-40%. When boss have op physical aoe its gonna be quite bad :/
    also smash would be better as a starter for short combos because its animation is slightly faster than sonic wave imo

    Oh didn't know that o_O thanks for the info sir :) then I'll try theorizing another sub wep for this one o_O or maybe not wear knuckles at all but that'll nerf the chance of grd break for shell break xD

    Sonic wave was used for long range opener xD since smash is kinda melee xD i didn't use york for special since it has -75mp and youll only get max 1kmp with the xtal set less 150(if i have 2yorks) but will definitely consider that -phy resist xD forgot to look at actual scrader while typing the thread :p thanks for the info ma'am ^_^

    most likely wall push the target out of range, so you have to step forward to continue the combo.
    impact buff will be used on arrow and has no effect there :p
    (tumble won't trigger either because you used sonic wave before)

    Ya, it helps autos deal more damage, generate more aggro, and give a little bit more AMPR, but it doesn't cause proration, it is only affected by it.

    Thanks man for the feedback :) i tweaked the combo section and will further improve it as I gain more knowledge :). Regarding wall and shell break, I tested it earlier in Iconos and shell break still works even if the enemy is pushed away :).

    I reviewed your combo.

    Found out that sp you invested on chain cast is put to waste.

    Only combo benefits from it is your spike>lance(smite)>holy(cons) combo.

    Don't forget that impact belongs to the magic tree, thus you can't take advantage of chain cast. Might as well use it on something useful. ^_^

    Thanks for the feedback sir :) will definitely reserve chain cast for future updates (150skills) but for now chain cast may be optional. I'll edit it now :)
