The uniqueness of Spinning Slash

Yeah i know thats cuase those skills in the combo with spinning slash drops the prorate for skill attacks, unlike spinning slash which ups skills attacks proration. Which makes sense in cuase in my 1st first video the proration of skill attacks in the combo with spinning slash stayed even, and the one without spinning slash, the skill attack proration dropped and were much harder to build the skill attack proration.

 

My characters are not of high dmg either and I was scolded because of that but I'm having fun with it lol

(btw, how does auto canceling in spinning slash works?? I don't know how it works and how to do it)

 

Auto canceling works with trigger slash. Auto canceling would be nice in-general without a skill xD

 

using Schevz gemini combo = spin slash>shadow(save)>trigger(swift)
with this combo u can auto cancel it for 3x
1 from spin slash(while tornado)
1 from trigger
and 1 from swift tag
after geminis combo u can move ur char from left to right while auto attacking.. theres certain timing on it.. so u need to work with it..or practice it

also spin slash is one of the reason of auto cancellation..

 

all u need is 4 skills spin>shadow>trigger>and right timing

 

tbh you dont need Trigger Slash to auto cancel. You can do it without trigger slash.



simple combo. Astute> spin smite > shadow cons.

Also works if you replace spin with twin. But can only do up to twice auto cancel.

 

Well, you asked for a proof for Spinning being magical in proration...

I don't know what your build is but your damage is half of my dw at metal stinger I do around 45k twinslah 60k+ charging slash hope you think about it

i just notice that i didnt even reply to you comment. Im only doing half of what you twin slash is doing becuase im using a a 1mp save combo. With a regular combo my twin slash can hit 50k-59k damage, but it like my 1mp combo better since its faster and requires less mp.

 

saame I always make 1mp combo because fast to use and able to spam~ (with quick draw lv 10, it can be infinite mana)

 

Yep that my style, SPEED . Since Spinning Slash ups proration for Skill Attack i try to keep less skills used after it in a combo, so the proration for skill attacks doesnt drop to much, and so i that i dont have to use normal attacks as much to up skill attacks proration.

 

there are 4 tricks to cancel DW's auto attack animation: (This list is the one that I abused, in number 2, I abused it by using different source of ticking skill.)

1. Mine, (Spinning slash > shadowstep save > trigger slash swift) works flawlessly in a very basic way and it will also quicken your next skill + AMPR on top of that. this trick can cancel upto 3 full DW autos.

2. Cyph's way, (Astute > Spinning slash smite/cons/swift > shadowstep cons) this is more complex as this trick needs more manual control. this combo can cut your shadowstep's evasion attack animation + 2 additional full DW autos in a total of 3, it can also boost your next combo starter's skill's crit ratio by +50%. however, I already abused this mechanics using other skill that has ticking mechanics too, Tempest. when you use tempest instead of spinning slash, you will gain +1 autos for a total of 4 autos.

3. My tank DW, (Flash stab/hardhit > Shadowstep 300MP save > Shellbreak swift > Rage sword cons) This is my combo If I wanna generate aggro in a quick way. Rage sword can also cancel autos alone. I will use this If I prefer gaining MP more than generating aggro in that specific situation.

4. Almost same as number 3 but in a quicker way, (Flash stab/hardhit > Shadowstep 300MP save > Rage sword cons > Shellbreak swift) This is my combo If I wanna generate aggro in a quick way. Shellbreak swift can also cancel autos alone (This one is the smoothest). I will use this If I prefer generating more aggro more than gaining MP in that specific situation.

I personally practiced either one of these, I mastered some.

Explanations:
1. Trigger slash > This one can cancel autos alone even if not swifted, best if you prefer spamming. this can also be abused if you're a prorater but you need certain amount of mastery to be able to abuse this skill to its full succession.

2. Shadowstep > This one can cancel autos alone even if not swifted, best if you wanna prorate faster.

3. Rage sword > This one can cancel autos alone even if not swifted, best if you wanna generate more aggro, a good skill for DW rank hoggers.

4. Shellbreak > Best if swifted, One of the smoothest DW auto attack cancellation trick source I've ever discovered in this game. best if you're not AMPR user.

"Also, I just wanna say this again, Spinning slash's Ticks behaves as a magical proration."

*** Spinning slash can cancel autos alone too, but who cares if you can back that up with these simple tricks. Spinning slash's auto attack cancelling capabilities (atleast spinning slash ALONE) is 1 cancellation for a total of 2 autos.
