What do you think about people who are new to Toram and haven't got level 4 skill tree. Cause I can not deal much damage.
DW wannabes. have no idea what they are doing, and ruin reputation.
Randoms that kick you for being a DW.
Disconnecting...reconnected....Disconnected... you know.
People who think DWs are weak. whaddya expect? they haven't received their lvl 4 yet.
The way hair/clothes stick out through your helmet/cape.
You don't need to deal lots of damage and level 4 skill tree to play even when you haven't reach lv150 yet.
There are other roles and builds besides high damage dealers (yeah, they're known as dps, which is the main culture/obsession in Toram).
You can be:
Breaker - disrupt, nullify attacks, crowd control
Tank - generate lots of aggro to attract attacks to yourself and avoid, soak and/or reduce damage
Support - casting party buffs such as War Cry, Protection, Aegis, Guardian, etc
Any combination of those 4 roles - eg Breaker Tank, DPS Semi-Tank
Don't get depressed when you're the only mage using Storm in a level-capped physical party with them spamming physical skills. You're actually helping to prorate and increase your party mates' damages even though you may not be doing lots of damage yourself. For Support, you can be buffing your party's damages dealt on targets, reduce damages dealt to party and improve party's survivability. You're contributing to the party in a different way, which most players are ignorant of or neglect.
May be I will try breaker or tank this time, cause my support one has been kicked many times cause they are looking for fast kill. Thanks for your advice. Do you think support is needed in low level bossed? Cause support is more suitable for long battle I think :'((
yea dont use support characters for low level boss fights especially with a random pt
support, tanking and all that is fun if you play with friends
Support is generally not necessary for low level bosses, but can still be beneficial when used appropriately.
DPS party mates will surely appreciate War Cry (+10% ATK at max lv )
It's super rare to meet players who can accept and be able to coordinate/integrate their mindsets and styles with a full Support character.
If it's a hybrid with some support skills as utility, it'll be much easier.
Breaker Mage (Staff main, Knuckles sub)
- War Cry in combo with save tag
Mage Tank (Staff main, Shield sub)
- Guardian for self: aggro generation, party: aggro reduction, damage reduction and AMPR increase
- Mini-Heal/Heal for self-healing* and reviving party mates
* Mini-Heal/Heal can heal any single target (except enemies) including self. Players will kick you when they see you healing them.
Wow, thank you very much. But why do they kick...
Because most players want fast kills and have the mindset of "This player isn't doing enough attacks/damages, breaking or tanking and maybe trying to leech by only casting Support skills/Heals".
They kick because support skill suck and aso kinda gave the support role to tanks. Mainstream mindset is "The best support is to kill it faster."
The thing more annoy is pt with levels 150 that dont know whats proration, whats flinch, tumble, stun. The day a were farmin nure ult and the answer to pls no tumble of a katana lvl 151 in pt doing tumble like no tomorrow was... What is tumble? That answer made me think how bad did asobismo releasing the new leveling system. Good luk guys farming with randoms!!
People who overprice things that are extremely easy to get to the point where its annoying to have it dropped (fairy feathers for 3K/stk or whatever they told me)
People who lie and use newbs to buy things at a dirt cheap price, loud boasters who lie extremely about getting free stuff from people (~~~OBORO getting free S refine from Kreater)
It makes me really annoyed.
