trick for mages against boss monsters

It took me nearly over an hour to figure out an easier way to defeat boss monsters alone. I'm not a big social person so I usually fight stuff alone. Well I figured this out.
1.when fighting a boss use the Magic:wall it knocks them back which gives you time to attack!
2. While the monster is getting knocked back use any kind of spell, I use blast. But that's just me.
3. If u have Magic:wall 10 then after you cast a spell you should have a little more time to put space
Between you and the monster or use mp recharge.
Finally!!use that over and over again until it's dead.
Idk if it works for everyone but it helps me when I come across bosses in the guild maze. Also idk if others knew this and I only just figured this out but... Good luck!

 

I also recommend adding a few melee attacks before casting magic.
From what I have found out, melee attacks boost magic damage against bosses.
My Magic: Blast can go as low as 2-4K, but after hitting the boss a couple of times, I was able to reach up to 21K (with Smite ).

 

I would also recommend maybe using lance and the make the first magic atk move you get at max lvl. I usually do a Break, Magic Wall, Lance/Mp charge.

 

This will be usefull for my brother cuz he is a mage but if he does not have blast... could he use the jabelin in exchange

 

What do you mean by smite? How do you do smite? Sorry, I'm rather new. Thanks!

 

Smite is an effect you can add to a combo.
It boosts your damage by 50%, but decreases your next skill's damage by 50% (if you haven't placed a skill after the smited skill, it will cost double the mp).
You can unlock the ability to create combos by having 10 skills (no need of maxing them out, it works too when they're level 1).
After that, you'll have a combo option in your menu. You will start off with 2 combo points, but you can easily get more by lvling up your combo. This is done by successfully finishing a whole combo, as it woud grant you a certain amount of experience, which if I remember correctly, is affected by the amount of points you have invested in the combo you are using.

Of course!! I said any atk it doesn't matter unless u rlly want big atk then I would u smite and blast.

 

If our mp run out like totally 0 we can distracted it like going in the red zone than out after that you knew it will have red zone.the mob also take time on hit us in the red zone so go further then mp charge our mp,that is my little trick.As fast just for while in red zone like 1second like that.

 

Oh I see now, thanks! I have very few skills now though; do skills like safe rest count under 1 skill out of the 10 required to unlock combos?

Lol thats nice tho... But as for me... Lone wolf aswell... I cast wall first then arrows, lance then javelin then wall, 2 charge, and i keep repeating it... Btw...wall and charge r lvl 10 so its kinda easier... Lol
