VIT BS-TANK BUILD : Deki Sword Tank

It'd be good if your BS Vit can also tank,like mine. I made my tank as similar as possible to a pure tank.

Spoiler: Combo and How to keep aggro

1. Combo. It's better if you make your own combo that fits your playstyle.
A. Guardian+Rampage Combo
Shield bash>trigger(save)>guardian(save)>sanctuary(swift)>berserk(save)>rampage(swift)

B. Long range combo
Reflex>war cry(save)>berserk(save)>sanctuary(swift)>buster blade(cons)>p.def(nothing).
You can delete buster if you want.

C.Meteor combo. Spam this combo if all pt are mage to prorate+dizzy buff
Astute>meteor(save)>war cry(smite)

2. Use p.def to protect yourself and gain aggro. If success, p.def generates bonus 500aggro(+100 from the mp cost)

3. Do lots of auto attack to gain mp for p.def/combo and to prorate

4. Don't spam combo is there is physical dps. If you want to spam combo for aggro,use B combo above

#Use flinch to cancel boss attack especially an attack that target your members
#Cast protection or aegis manually depending on the boss after using guardian combo
#If boss is far and you want to use close range skill,shukuchi first(normal attack) then use the skill.

These equipment can increase your diff and success rate a little
Weapon : Sword/Knuck/Staff/BG Stat dex14,str14
Armor : Stat dex+14,str+14
Sub weap : high quality wood arrow(from aborgon)
Add gear : fighter chignon cap(NPC)
Ring : dex talisman/muscle talisman
Xtal : Dex+4 or Str+4

That's the basic of vit bs-tank,you can edit the build to fit your own playstyle.
You might want to understand the boss attack pattern to be better at tanking.

i'm doing a tank vit bs too, though using knuckles instead of sword.
I use 3 short combo for activate guardian, non-flinch/mp regen and stun/aggro generating.
I build my char as a reference to a certain shield bro

 

Brigandine is just an armor, not an add gear. Maybe you meant Brigan Helm?

Why recorvey lvl6?
What about mini heal, lvl6 too?

 

Recovery can remove 2 status ailment at lv6. Useful for annoying ailment like ignite and poison.
I didn't mention mini heal,but it heals 300 HP+10% of max HP. In lv6 probably 180 HP+6% of max HP.

I don't know,i don't use that. But usually the higher the level,the higher chance to inflict ailment

 

can i replace jiangshi with circle of order?

 

You can,it has higher resistance. Jiangshi is better only because of the max mp+300

oic.. what about shield bash n shield cannon?

 

Idk abt shield cannon,but shield bash lv.1 also always stun. So probably it is 91% stun at lv1

 

It is 77% at lvl1
I prefer lvl4 85% or lvl6 90%
Shield cannon on the other hand is only 10% at lvl1
