VIT Smith's Equipment

Hii as a new Crafter-Smith, I hav some unsure feeling...
As my smith is Full VIT 250, I'm wearing Full VIT equipment... such as staff VIT 7%+13 , armor VIT 7%+13 and add.armor VIT 5%.
And the question is... will the equipment increase my crafted armor's potential ?
Since my extra potential is only 26
Or is it increases my failed armor's potential ?

 

Only flat stats affect potential, % doesn't.

 

Gear stats does not affect your crafted potential. Better to use full Dex gear to increase your Item Difficulty level

 

mm.. i changed it to DEX13 + VIT13 how is it ?

Neither flat nor % stats from your gears affect the potential of your equips.
This has been asked many times, only the stats on your status screen affect the potential of the gears.
You got +27 coz you are crafting a gear that has more than 20 base pot. Careful creation skill gives +10% of base pot at lvl10.

 

Get Dexed out,no point in adding more vit,you have enough, dex adds more difficulty to make armor you diddnt have enough to make before. That will raise your prof faster,and you will make more successful gears as time goes on.

 

As Aya and me both said your gear stats does not affect the potential. The 26 was from crafting armor with less than 20 base pot successfully, you got 1 from the armor and 25 from your 250 Vit stat. The 27 you get now is cause you successfully crafted an armor with above 20 base pot but less than 30 so you got 2 from the Careful Creation skill an 25 from the 250 Vit. You do not get any extra potential from gear stats
