Yes it gives 1ampr. AMPR you get from MP is Max MP/100 but its a fixed value and does not apply to the special double ampr that DWs get from Xtals, items and pots.

Sensei, another question or clarification. On choosing a subhand sword, what do i need to consider? The refinement and element only? Or the attk included? Tried some test on lavarca using @88+C and im doing around 670-700 noncrit. Then used @7 no refine and did 500-550 noncrit. My mistake was i did not test my @88 weapon before refining. Now im broke to buy another one just to test

 

I honestly look at ATK and Refinement.
I got to test a Wood Sword, a @80+B Phyo Blade and a @125+A Tomahawk.
Even though Tomahawk has the lowest Stability, It still deals the highest damage among the three.
My Normal Autos can do 10k to 12k damage.
Phyto Blade let me do until 8k
and Wood Sword til 6k only.

Umm sir, from what I heard... MP Boost skill can also grant u +3AMPR at Max Lvl. So why not using that too for more AMPR?

 

AMPR you get from MP is not doubled. Theres a difference between Getting S.Roar and Jade. You get more AMPR from Sroar because.it is a doubled 4. Where Jade is a Doubled 1 and a +3

 

I have 1.1k mp. When i replace PG with Moon Light and Jade with S.Roar. I get more AMPR even though i replaced the MP with AMPR stats.

 

+3 AMPR, Which would be equivalent to the +300MP of PG. But ampr from MP isnt doubled. Unless you get modifiers fron trigger and shadow step.

 

HOLD IT!
If you watch the video from @BK. you'll notice that he didn't use AMPR gears (correct me on this) and solely MP gears. He doesn't use Trigger at first either. Now notice the AMPR regen without Trigger. Every two autos, he regained a bar.
Now, if the AMPR was doubled, his calculations would be correct (50 AMPR) and relevant to what happened in the vid. Now if it wasn't doubled, he would have 20 + 1500(MP)/100 = 35 AMPR. 100(MP needed for a bar)/35(MP gained through AMPR) roughly equals to 2,85. That means it would have taken 3 autos most of the time to regain one MP bar and then only 2 autos every once in a while.
Thus we can (hopefully safely) conclude that either Asobimo tampered with AMPR again or AMPR from MP is doubled.
