    Important Notes:
    • Equipping an MD as secondary will make Charge use MD's charge time if its faster than the primary. (I know this is well known. But I included it to be thorough.)
    • Power Wave (Passive lvl3: Magic Skill) will add the MD's Atk stat and all substats that apply. This works for Staff/MD too. Vita core (29+5) vs metal wings (32+5) vs irogeon (15+6) show substantial differences. Metal will crit more, as per it's subs. Vita still has higher average damage as per its stability 10% power wave uses Primary's stability as base (example: Knuck/vita; 90%+10%=100%: 95% is cap). Xtals on them work during power wave. My vita use astols. Metal Wings have a crit +2 xtal. So this must be a glitch they don't know about.
    • Power wave with MD in secondary will negate damage penalty to Power Wave for not using a Staff or MD as your primary weapon.
    • Bowgun with MD and Power Wave applies damage increase from Long Range between 8-10m (lvl2 Bow passive Bow skill).
    • Max Stability is 100%.
    • All of these were fully proofed by me. It took me a day. But feel free to proof it all yourself.
    • (*) MAtk%, MAtk+, Atk%, Atk+, & Stability% always function on secondary equips. These are your only known exceptions.
    UPDATE:
It appears one of the "minor bug fixes" in the update a week or two ago was to make stability of arrows only apply to Xbows and Bows.
This is the second time I've had to edit a thread based on an update directly after one of my threads. So devs must read the forum. That's just too coincidental.

So MD increasing the Tumble Rate of Impact is a myth?
A little offtopic but, does MD also increase Brawler skills when equipped as main?

Even with a staff tumble procs alot of times at 5second intervals i think, maybe impacts chance of tumbling increases with lvl? Mines lvl10 but some ppl nowadays like it at lvl7 just for the insta cast

MD is considered a brawler weapon by the game. But it has 50% proc rate. Where knuckles have a 100%. All other weapons have a 25% Proc rate.

And yes, from the OP, I list MDs as adding to proc rate by 25% when equipped in secondary. Only knuckles and MDs add to proc rate

So yes, if you have knuckles on Secondary and you're using a Staff on main; your proc rate will literally triple.

That's not what I meant. Not Staff vs MD tumble rate. I've heard a lot of times that Impact has higher tumble rate with Staff/MD. I'm curious about Knuck/1H + MD sub.

I have impact at 10 ranks. Proc increases by +5% per rank for staves. MDs have built in proc for all status effects of 50% when used as main and 25% on Secondary.
So an MD mage will always proc at impact 10. It still then has a roll versus mental as normal.

Proc rate is the rate at which an ability or effect triggers.

"Crit rate" is technically a proc rate for crit damage, for instance.

And just in case I haven't been clear:
    Proc rate doesn't mean "inflict".
Its the chance to inflict a status.

    Example:
    MD Mage uses lvl5 Impact.
MD on main gives 50% Proc.
    Impact 5 gives 25% Proc.
So every casting of Impact has a 75% chance to proc all enemies hit. (This is on a 1 for 1. Its rolled separately for each enemy. The enemy is then allowed to roll against the affliction.

    I used smash>sonic(consecutive)>bash(consecutive) repeatedly.
Did it the combo 33 Times for each combination. Then a single bash.
That gives 100 breaks. Count the number of successes. Repeat with a character with pure dex for the higher accuracy. This gives the proc and the difference on the inflict.

additional info, if in any case someone wants to know (source: http://www2.hp-ez.com/hp/mobilephoenix/page29)

condition: if knuckle is main (and sub, there was a test that confirmed that even using sub as knuckles still give effects same if it's used as main, that's why Staff+Knuckles have high DPS output)

    Smash: +50% dmg, +25% flinch
    Bash: +50% dmg, +25% stun
Sonic Wave: +25% dmg, +25% tumble
Shell Break: +100% dmg.. no data, from my test it's around 30% chance, same with Strong Chase Attack, both have duration at 5 seconds Break.
Earth Bind: +25% dmg, +50% stop
Heavy Smash: +150% dmg, +50% lethargy
Triple Kick: +100% dmg, +50% crit rate.. 3 hits, each hit will recalculate damage

Equipping Bowgun+Arrow only receives 1/2Atk from the Arrow then do you think Stability is similar to?
MD as sub-weapon also increases the chance to inflict Status of Javelin and Blast; when using Main weapon not Staff, it adds 1 more Lance at lv5 skill (maybe lv10 too i haven't tested yet :p) and increases dmg of Impact (+100%?)

Yeah, that's because it's proc. Knuckles should do the same. I never thought to test that. Feel free. :D
