Which dps build better for STR>DEX build?

I'm planning to reset my 2hs STR>DEX character, but im still confused which direction im gonna convert her too, so swordfu? Staff-fu? New 2hs build? Or something else?

 

2hs is a solid build.. also resets are expensive why not just make a new char from scratch using the orbs from the reset. One thing is sure tho.. few if any party would invite a sword fu because most wreck proration with their combo spams.

 

I actually have what i call a '2H-fu'. Its mainly a 2hs (full STR->DEX) warrior, but additionally takes the martial tree's 'interruption kit' [lvl 6 smash, lvl 6 bash & lvl 10 sonic wave]. If I ever need to, i can easily switch to 1h-fu mode, and set up a long continuous-interrupt combo to stun lock minibosses (and occasionally some normal bosses). Make sure you have at least a fast merc alongside you though, to keep the proration balanced. I usually switch to this mode when i'm grinding pets (i.e. fusion fodder) and need to keep them alive.

Also, slapping on Integridar 2hs + seashells arm + TimeWarpWatch (even ns) makes it into a great personal attacker merc too, with good accuracy, hp and atk. Very handy 3-in-1 build.

If you don't have the 1st two items, you can just pick up the TWW for relatively cheap off the cb now and it'll still be pretty good.

 

You might want to try dark energy build with regretless and bloody bite

 

If you want aspd without berserk just get quick aura level 10.

 

About the reset, i don't plan on doing it soon (maybe when free resets only ). And about proration, yeah, i've heard a LOT of people complain about proration of -Fu class (and also DW, Katana, u know it right?)
So, how about other weapons? Like Halberd or something, does it cause more pain than 2hs? (for the enemies of course )

 

You know why you post this thread on this class discussion? All because you knew yourself that gotta pick 2h eventually. It'll benefit more on the str dex stat plus your skill point won't be spread so much. While if you pick I hybrid, you won't have solid trees investment. ^_^

 

I like Halberds they're solid dps too.. depending on the build they can be a bit too "glass-cannony". Since they're not mainstream nowadays you can get gear and equipment for cheap even stuff refined to +S. I am actually still working on a dark+burn hb but it has been parked since I want to level cap my luck smith mage farmer...​
