XIII's Mad Creations: The Whirlwind DW (Phase [3/3])

lol wish u can share us your dmg results. I've figured out most of my combo build but need to figure out if there is a quicker way to do it XD

 

I've made some adjustments with my build (that I will post soon; probably tomorrow) and I've made a few damage tests along the way.
Just to give you an idea, a Smite (no Save reduction) Tempest at cap with my current build (lacking 2 skill points) did a 19k wave + 8k ticks on MS; non elemental. That's 67k by itself.
I'll maaaaaaaaybe make a video for it in more detail; if not I'll just post all the results.

 

i've made mine with 1 long combo using the full 15cp and its still a 1mp XD. Two full smite was achieve (full 150%) But the dmg vary cause i didnt set them up right and lvl was not max.

 

Not bad!
It's not my style of combo though. I like swift (pun intended) combos much more, even if they make me spend more MP overall, because it allows me to move and reassess the situation instead of just sitting there and taking a hit.

 

Double post, but FINALLY DONE WITH THIS BUILD (kinda)!
- I've made a skill build change: Twin is now OPTIONNAL, as I haven't found much use for it. Maybe someone else can.
- New combo examples.
- Added the results of my tests.
- Added credits.
- Build is now in phase 3!

 

Ok so I will tell another secret. Use Astute> Spin swift/smite/cons> step save> trigger swift 200mp/100mp (I prefer swift as this tag allows you to reposition faster which makes your auto attack cancelling easier). Same spin>step save>trigger swift cancellation functionality and this will allow you to unlock spinning slash as a combo opener for your spin> astute smite> impact cons> tempest smite> step save> trigger swift or spin > spiral air/step save> astute/twin slash smite> impact cons> tempest smite> step/spiral air save> trigger swift. (I always prefer shorter combos for personal reasons)

PS: this is just my suggestion. I respect and understand everything in this build.

 

I will actually keep this suggestion in mind. But I can't use it now, because as is my build only has 74 AMPR with Trigger buff and no Quick Draw. Even if I somehow managed to auto cancel up to 3 times, I'd still only regain 296 MP, which is only a 96 MP profit every time. Keeping the combo at 1MP increases that to 196 MP. I desperately need some 2s gears and some skill points to finally make it work.

I edited my post to be more specific. And yes, Just 2slots magic scarf and 2slots armor will do. I understand you cause I struggled in that specific issue back then alot.

 

Btw is this good dmg for roga? Its a 5mp when i tried solo then why I tried it in pt i got atk rank once

 

That's pretty good. Haven't tried estimating my damage against Roga but looks like you've got a pretty good set of numbers!

 

Double post cause lazy.

It's not as simple: I also lack skill points for HP Boost, so I'm using event Forehead Protector. Otherwise, I would only have a little under 2k HP (and many attacks can nuke me at this health).

 

This specific run is quite good for a fast boss runs considering the fact that everything went the way you planned it. (Everything crits and hits perfectly) but as we all know, phantom slash has these obvious disadvantages dps wise (high risk low reward damage output. If it didn't crit, misses, guarded or evaded, it all does and it will last in a very long duration which can result into a very poor dps.) And also tempest needs some kind of hard crowd control for it to function to its full potential.

 

I wont say low dps as they add up dps just that they take longer to kill

 

Ah yes about phantom, I'm always hesitating to use it everytime and tempest is well.... needs a perfect situation to use. Personally I find twin slash more reliable XD

Dual wield is still amazing for us to learn and grow up
