Abyss was decent but didn't have that magic, for me at least. Growlanser however was my fave SRPG series. (Especially GL3)

Besides everyone knows classics are the best. SNES was a RPG Powerhouse!

With the exception of Sonata your list is good. DQ4-6 Best overall,Dq9 was a let down.
Dark Cloud 1 & 2 were super happy fun time.
Nobodies mentioned Rogue Galaxy for the PS2....

 

For mobile, I loved the Kingdom Rush series. 1st ones free, the other 2 you have to pay for but well worth it. Lots of good content, nice and funny story, hidden references to gamers.

For PC (which I no longer have *cries*): Tera was my main MMO. I miss my popo panda priest.. Far cry 3 and 4. I had like 3k hrs on Left 4 dead 2 and 1.5k hrs in Skyrim. Dead space Trilogy
Half life 2: episode 1 & 2 (fantastic games)

Skyrim is cool. But what is Mabinogi? I'll have to look that one up.

I used to play Gauntlet back in the PlayStation 2 years. I haven't played it recently though.

Well, Mabinogi is a really different type of MMORPG. Their shtick is this game should be played casually BUT also gears itself for those who are here for a challenging experience too.
Each style (or life) is doable and interchangeable. The reason for that is there are no defined class you're obligated to. In time, you could learn and master all the skills possible. There's NO max level nor a set amount of stat or AP thanks to the "rebirth system". Once a real life week, you can be reincarnated, resetting your temp level (but not your skill levels or the AP you've collected), adding to the pool of your accumulated level. So each time you restart, you have the potential to become stronger than you once were. All and all, it's a quaint game to try. Free to play. And uh, sorry about the wall of text, lol.
