Halberd build Questions

Anyone know the stats so far? And the type of gear stats. So far full strength and a mix of CRT and agi seems best and using essentially 2h gears seems to be best but what is everyone else doing?

 

I think little different but it's up to you cause halberd use acc and 2h use dex depending on build

 

Is it worth putting points in Dex for acc? Or should you add acc on your gears hmmm

 

You would think it would be decent seeing as it's auto attacks twice

And the mp charge for halberd is a horrible skill imo

 

Hmmm; as for the skill distribution; the stats to go for if you want high damage are: str and agi

Str: 2.5 atk/point (str also gives critical damage and maybe stability like it does on 1h and 2h)
Agi: 1.5atk/point (also higher flee, some cpsd and aspd)

I wouldn't recommend CRT because it only increases critical rate and not critical damage.

So far it hasn't been confirmed dex gives stability on halberds, @Red_Fox do you know more about this?

EDIT: 2h gear like might be good; but since one of the skills has a nerf in critical rate, stats like those at bowguns might also be not that bad

 

go Str>agi with 40 (or 30) crit <-- str gives more c dmg amplify + dmg based cdmg and agi gives aspd + dmg
since halberd itself has high crit on its weapon and skills, u need only 30-40 and u will deal like 50-70% crate

 

none of my chars has DEX (at least not now) so i can't test this.
but anyone with a bowgun char can do: equip a halberd, do normal attacks and see if the stability matches. if it does, DEX does not raise stability.

Edit: after reading about stability in the wiki, it appears that it's the stat which has the lower atk growth (matk for staff and MD) that raises stability. so with this rule, it could be AGI that increases stability...

I don't have a dex character either; I might as well try it out myself though...But I don't have the time yet

 

So, main stat for damage is str, it add attack and some aspd. Agi adds dodge, aspd, cspd, matk, atk. Dex just adds hit, Crit might be a replacement to dex since the whole thing is crit dependent and boosted anyway. this is a speed potion addict even with the buff active(i smell good profits on gigas) mana recovery is a big issue, a downer for those skill spammers.
