Is anyone has similar idea with mine?
My idea is combining resonance with support skill heal.
As you know at max level resonance will balance hp and mp.
And max lvl heal will add 3000+20% max hp with 300mp cost.
300 mp is only 15% of 2k mp.

    Example:
Your character have 20k max hp and 2k max mp.
    1. With resonance at 0 mp you will get 10k hp and 1k mp.
    2. Spend 300mp to heal.
    3. Then you get 17k hp and 700mp to spend.
That means you will spend 15% hp to gain 35% mp.
Combining this two skill will make you able to gain unlimited mp and spam skills more recklessly.
In conclusion tank wont need ampr or mp charge anymore.
Tank will also be able to dish more dmg for example buster blade (auto crit) or enchanted blade (element and unsheath).
You don't need too much hp too because you can heal whenever you want.
The disadvantage is you need to drop shield and many interrupt skills.
Is this build viable? What do you think?

Resonance can only be used once every 30 seconds.
MP Charge + Maximizer gives more mp without loosing hp.

I don't know that resonance have a restriction.
So is mp charge better than ampr for a tank?
There is a skill that add flich resistance to help casting at battle.

That skill is never worth using, by the time you cast it you could of did mp + maximize and the resistance is only 5 seconds.

Any weapon type can become a tank if you're serious enough. As long as you fulfills your main role perfectly

For ampr just use ether flare, it gives 30 ampr for 10 seconds, and of course a good ol dekoi shot, and trigger slash at the end of combos to give extra ampr boost. You can use elegant poise from dancer tree to give you some invincibility frame, you can also use the Meteor break to avoid attacks.
The downside of semi tank is that they often don't use much party buff, so the aggro holding is limited to a sole target, quite inconvenient for some bosses. I recently played with a tank that couldn't attract the pillars on venena ultimate difficulty and it greatly affects the overall performance since many died.

All in all, your damage would be like tenth of your dps member, It's not necessarily the best support you can do for your party. For example, a knuck tank could spam Chakra and it would be a much better support for your party. We also have spirited dance from dancer tree that can give your party 200mp per cast. With the way combo is used now, being a tank is the perfect role to fit in support skills when dps class is still way better at dishing out damage

Ether Flare is not very reliable for ampr. your MD must have the target's weak element to gain this effect. and even if you carry 6 elemental MDs, you still won't get the buff against neutral targets.

Dancer Skills can be used with daggers, which also provide useful stats (unlike sub MD). except for Maximizer i see no reason to use 1h+MD on a tank.
and a main MD or staff would probably perform better. the magic blade tree is not suited for defensive play.

    Ok, thanks for the info.
Also, does sword technique on blade skills affect enchanted sword?
