2hs berserker build

    Hello guys ufu here!
    We haven't shared any new builds here in the forums for a while now, so i decided to share mine and other possible gears and skill setups for a more personalized build, cuz remember that the best class is not locked on a specific weapon but on what suits your play style the most!

    I would also like to spread my passion for 2hs since bows, halbs and dws have been overtaking us in popularity. whenever I ask a random stranger what's a good dps class most of them will answer bow or halberd, and occasionally finale or DW. I would like to show that 2hs ain't no pushover. Let us prove that 2hs has its place as a top tier DPS and regain our former GLORY!!!


    2hs is a very versatile class as it boosts a great skill set to deal lots of dmg and sport decent durability. It is a bit heavy to move around due to the skill animation so you need to time your skills right, but with practice, meteor can also be used to evade deadly dmg or pesky interrupts while dealing dmg at the same time! It is also very newbie friendly since it provides crit rate for those who can't afford a crit set yet, and at the same time provides perfect crit rate from skills for a full dmg gear setup for our dps junkie friends!

    So without further adue, the berserk build!

    Hello fellow 2h main :D Nice build you got there. Somewhat similar to my personal build though mine has more useless skills xD Got some things to say though..

    1. Why are War Cry, Sword Mastery, Sword Techniques, and Battle Skills (except Whack) optional? Aren't they considered as core skills too?
    2. No Atk10% Str10% CDmg10% CDmg20 on weapon list?
    3. I like that you added Protection and Aegis as optional, considering it's pretty useful and that there's a lot of stupid tanks with only lv5 each xD

    Sadly, as much as I like playing 2h, I don't like how without Decoy it's pretty hard to be somewhat on par with those who use it.

    1. If your leaning on the tank/durability side you can have more skill points to allocate for tanking skills... lvl5 Warcry will mostly serve as an aggro generator for a tank 2hs, but if you have extra skill points lvl10 warcry is always awesome..

    3. Protec and aegis will cost 300 mp each but its worth it considering we get 0 def/m.def with rampage

    i also miss back then when ampr xtals and ampr ava are important, now i just build it up to 100 ampr and decoy does the rest.

    2h can't be as good as an actual tank, best it could get is a semi tank xD Mine is a semi too, Str>Vit and has both Protection and Aegis. Though I can still do without them, since I take resistance food and have decent resistance equips.

    Still, having 100 AMPR without skill buffs is already pretty good, which I haven't achieved yet... I'm broke lol xD

    i would think MP/HP boost would be optional too, eps since there are food buffs that covers it. I actually left my MP Boost blank cuz i have capped MP with my food buff running :)
    Also, what do you think about the enchanted blade skill? it hits the boss/mobs at whatever element they're weak to..

    had a lot of surplus sp that skipping mp/hp boost was not considered, thanks!

    What i truly like about 2hs is that although it seldom does fancy 1m+ numbers, all its skills contribute to dps, like astute/trigger dealing 100k dmg, rampage with its 30k auto attacks, and buster as alternate dps for spikes/crit resist bosses, enchant reduces the dmg of these skills due to its dedicated unsheathe build (this is just me being nitpicky cuz i suck at using enchant :p)

    Enchant became so slow for 2h after they nerfed it. Oh and neutral element bosses exists too.

    yeaaa...the animation too slow, sometimes i get interrupted b4 my enchant hits, but i really only hv that combo to activate berserk hahaha...so as long as that activates im happy.

    Opener in the combo list refer to any opener skill you like. He listed what skills he uses as opener or filler beforehand.
    If you cannot make combo yet, unlock the option by skilling 10 different skill. You will get an emblem that gives 2 combo points for you to starts with. If you just started, it might take same spina to buy the skills. Just play the main quest to level up a bit. To make it easy, get some friend with good mercenary. Twohanded mercenary with high attack is the best. Shout at Sofya for mercenary help will usually get a few people offering.
    You can fight the main quest in easy mode by retreating from the initial fight and re-enter to select easy difficulty.

    2h isnt so popular compared today when he posted this topic. I also observed the increase of 2h player when indigo jet sword became craftable by player.

    Imo, ths is the most balanced dps weapon class. No glaring weakness. Maybe a bit hard as the first character to bridge from tier 3 to 4. But mq already get you to lvl 147 now making it a moot point.

    2h berserk has low stability, -25% stability is a lot.
    It's like missing around 10-15% overall dmg.
    Investing crit on equipment is better (for me).
    But no berserk will make rampage become harder to use. :/

    Edit : If your attack can only graze the enemy, it's fine to use berserk. :D:D:D

    Lol many people just diss off 2h, halb has pretty good dps, bow has op damage in cf, finale has high base dmg and m. pierce, so thats all good, but 2h is one of those build that can do massive amounts of dmg with a short combo, this applies to any moment of the battle, where as cf requires charge, and finale has a long cast time along with both having the danger of being interrupted. Halb is one of those dps which require them to be squishy, making them less durable, hence.. dont diss us 2h lovers XD

    For pros, High critical rate with berserk, 100% crit chance with buster blade, high base attack, fairly high ampr with triple ampr buff in rampage, trigslash and kairiki ranshin(short duration, but can still be utilized), 4 ampr means if you also take regretless. Looks badass with the bigass sword.

    The cons, can be hard to use because of it being a melee weapon and doesn't have as much of defensive measure unlike DW, but you can still utilize guard. Doesn't have greatswords with high pierce, though its still not bad against high def bosses with its high base atk and pierce gears with penetrating oil. 30% total pierce would still be great, not to mention if there's a party with snipe, you can still use the sheer atk to dish out high number. Doesn't have sub weapon so theres not much variance to the builds. The gameplay can be pretty monotonous with the meteor break spam and buff combo.
