Power wave

    So I'm wondering if getting power wave will be good for knux+dagger? Since new bosses had many aoe skills and with power wave I can still attack from a distance for mp.

    If I'll get power wave, I'll use slide then Goliath while for chariot I can still use it from a distance. Is this a good choice or not??

    I think it would be good. Just get the power wave to lvl 2(6m) so you could still shukichi and then you can continue to use slide when needed.

    If you don’t mind your normal attack damage drop to 50%~25%, and xtal with LRD damage reduce affect your chariot like wandering.

    Slide can use only within 6m between mob, which mean if you have LvL5 above power wave (7m above) and when you are 7m far away from boss (let say 10m), your shukuchi will stop you at 10m range and you have to [walk] till 6m to use skill slide, unless you stop power wave at LvL3, but 6m still is under the range of most boss aoe skill.

    I will stop at lvl2 for power wave (6m).
    Additionally, If I get power wave I was planning not to get decoy because I don't want to rely on decoy for ampr especially if the bosses keeps on moving.

    Relying on normal attack, I have a total of 42 ampr (Avatar, aggravate and food buff)

    For now, I have 3 options and I am still confused on which one should I use:
    1. Get power wave without decoy
    2. Get decoy without power wave
    3. Get both decoy and power wave

    Clarification:
    1. On what meter does chariot will be considered as long range?

    42 AMPR still not enough, because you still require 3 hit to regen 1 Bar mana.If you have enough SP, just take decoy or at least take quick draw and max the Backstep to gain 100mp recover when use.

    LRD on skill and LRD on gear/crystal have different effect. LRD on skill (the skill before the quick draw ) is as long as your skill maximum range is equal or more than 8m, your skill damage is affected. LRD on gear/crystal is affect by the distance between you and the target, if more than 7m consider long range.

    Ahh, so 6 meter for chariot is still short range. (Correct me if I'm wrong). Tho should I consider getting power wave or stick with decoy?

    Up to you, my halb dps use power wave, my reason was that I wanted to maintain my long range and buff my damage by using long range buffs on my avatar. In my experience long range and decoy Is good once the boss doesn’t move that much you have the advantages of a bow but with a close range char, and as someone said you can use slide for a combo starter to get in range do your damage then back step back out. But that depends on how you want to do your build, that you’ll have to decide yourself. On a side note the power wave debuff for regular attacks are a non issue since most of the time we depend on skills acquired to do the real damage, normal attacks are mainly for ampr and propriation the damage done is really a non issue to me .

    Ya, at least you wont get damage reduce from wandering wheel.
    It fine to get both skill if you have enough SP, but if you can take only either 1 skill, then 2 suggestion I can give.

    1. For power wave only,
    Secure hit and stable AMPR regen, but due to 42 AMPR the regen speed still is slow, thus we focus on combo settings, which mean use 1MP combo.
    Example Combo for Crusher, with and without Finale
    a) Slide/HolyFist > God-Hand(Save) > Forefist(SMI) / a1) Slide/HolyFist > God-Hand(save) > Backstep(swift) > Finale(Smi)
    b) Reflex/Sonic > Warcry(save) > Quick Aura(Swift) > Kairiki(con) > Breathwork(con) > GoliathPunch(Swift)
    c) Slide/Assault > Goliath Punch(Smi) > Combination(swift)/Backstep(con)
    By using all these 1 MP combo, although you have low AMPR, you still able to manage MP well, if you have QuickDraw and successful trigger it when using any of the mention 1MP combo, it's consider zero cost.

    2. For Decoy only,
    If you have decoy, basically mean your AMPR become double ( 42 > 84 ), that make you feel AMPR regen faster but it's difficult for those boss have Spike around him or keep on moving. If you still have chariot, mean you will have Shield Break. Try added Shield break in combo like Slide/Assault >God-hand(save)>Shield Break(Swift) > Backstep(swift)/any 1MP skill.

    For goliath punch can just go for Impact>GP or just simply cast directly. I won't suggest go for Breathworks>GP(SMi) because it's actually use more MP than Directly cast ( 3MP + ( 5MP/2=3MP) = 6MP ), direct cast GP and then Slide/Assault>GP(SMI) would be better.( well...although both still is using 6mp)
