About the new evasion system

    may i remind you on the fact that it only worked against a single target AND only when you were the aggro holder?
    not to mention the sheer number of unevadable attacks.

    I usually solo and i get that, but for me it is literally just a "better" version of backstep/shadowstep which i already use. I'm sure for other classes it's handy my argument is for DW only.
    P.S. i usually hold aggro with no tank

    But its supposed to be a bug evade mid combo so unless you evade while using impact that is the only magic most people use you wont be able to avoid.

    Then I guess it depends on char and build

    You can see how much your total guard gauge has by checking in "Shortcut setting". Same for evasion stats.

    In old system you could evade during skills, like mana recharge for example, so removing that feature would be a downgrade. Tbh evasion is good as it is, if you don’t know how to use it then it will suck for you but if you do then you’ll love it. Just like many of the other skills in this game, it’s about know how and skill which comes from practice. People complaining that the charges are too much, then do this go solo black knight of delusion and try to evade every auto hit in his combo, then tell me if it’s too much. To me this talk about a nerf is really silly since if it sucked you guys would whine about that also. It’s good you cry , it’s bad you cry, like some ppl just need their diapers changed imo.

    Yeah, ya right...this definitely a nerf.
    They should buff it so that there's only one charge that recovers every 0.1s.
    ....or 0.3s.

    Couldn't agree more with this. Stop calling for nerfs after testing 1 time and reading a post on the forums. I am sure most people will notice that evasion is pretty meaningless in party play. You don't get hit by auto attacks anyways. Probably finale mages will experience the biggest change

    How would they react if Suzuki changes the maximum evasion stacks from all class to 2 and the minimum evasion recharge to 2 seconds (cannot go lower than that value).

    There is a drawback for spamming evasion, and a reward for not spamming it (at least from what I concluded after tests):
    The more stacks of Evasion you have, the faster it will recharge, but if you use it all to 3/1/0, it will recharge sllllooooowwwwwwwwwwwllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.....

    And.. Goliath punch is not that big of a deal? I main knuckle, we do not have the insane AMPR required to spam goliath 10 times in a row, not only that but it's preferred (Not essential, but preferred) to use god hand x3 to boost it's damage more, which by itself only blocks 90% of damage from non-fatal atacks, tumble and stun will ignore God hand protection and will work normally, ignoring the Damage reduction also. It's not as boosted as the name suggests) and it doesn't protect you from ailments either.
    You can use god hand before a Flinch atack, it will reduce 90% of the Dmg but the flinch still affects you. And so on...

    I understand if you think it is broken for already good classes like Dual Sword or Katana (one that is indeed OP but requires insane mastery).
    Knuckles just recently entered the "Big boys only" seat, crusher is nice and all, but in no way makes it as good as the top classes.
    (Yes, people with 9000 xtalls and billions worth on equipment will deal absurd amounts of damage, they are not majority tho)

    This new Evasion system is a God's given for weaker classes that struggle in this game, like knuckles, it opens a variety of plays styles and possibilites that are, in my opinion, promissing.

    AND, have you faced the new bosses? I mean HOLY SH*T they are BROKEN xdxdxdxd----
    This new Evasion and Guard system is so we can keep up and not suck against all the Spikes spamming and death lazers that new bosses keep using to kill us xd

    And, I want to advice you about something I think; this behavior of saying everything new "BroKen oMG NErf" is a terrible and harmful behavior for the game. Things that aren't even that good, or are actually good/Needed tools, or are being over hyped (like goliath...) could be reduced to trash because of ignorance/premature judgment.
    I Understand why people do that, I was amazed by this new system too, but let's be honest, It would S U K if this system wasn't innovative.

    Actually the number of stacks doesn't matter. The recharge time will just get slower every time you use it. It also doesn't matter how long you wait until you use it again. Or at least not significantly.

    Otherwise I fully agree with you.

    Personally I don’t think the evade system is OP. I actually think that we were just too used to boss auto attacks being absurdly OP and now it feels weird to have viable counter play beside just tanking the hit and healing afterwards. Beside now that we have more options the bosses can get even crazier without becoming unfun.

    auto evade is kinda questionable though.

    I think auto evade might come back as t4 guard or assassin skill so stop bitching and start leveling.

    When I run out of MP while using combos during mob farming, I can just do an FB save and Shadow Step ender combo, manual evade everything, and auto-attack to recover mp then go back to comboing once i run out of charges.

    It's like DW mob farming has 2 phases now. Out of MP? FB+manual evade. No evasion charges? go back to comboing. Rinse, repeat. DW practically has no down time when farming mobs now.

    What exactly are you refering to? I meant that I don't think it matters for the recharge time change if I use evasion twice directly after one another or wait idk 10 sec inbetween

    I just want the manual evasion to trigger double stab. In the same way it activates flash blast.

    I don't actually mind the additional mobility of the evasion skill. I honestly thought I'd hate it, but it's becoming useful. The guard on the other hand, of a bit of a different story. But they acknowledge it isn't working as intended

    i think this is the most useful feature of the new evasion system(other than mirage) where you could avoid atks tht otherwise would hit you if you didnt time your normal-run avoid move correctly ie: jeandoux, ifrit and gwai's bullet atks
