anvil skills, is it really that important?

I've seen several guides on how to prepare a blacksmith character, most of them said that maxing all of the anvil skills is a must.

but maxing the last 2 of anvil skills already give me 200 max proficiency lvl, i dont think maxing all the skills would do me any good (since there are no equipments that even reach item difficulity lvl 200 rn).

 

Max base cap prof lv is 50. Each point on any anvil gives +5 prof cap, so it doesn't matter if you put 5-5-5-5 or 10-10 on anvils. Max prof level you can reach is limited by max level of current crafts + 11, e.g. max craft lv actually is 175, so you can only get prof up to 186, then you only need to spend 28 points on anvils.

 

yea that's why i wonder why almost all those blacksmith-crafter guide said that maxing all those skills is a must, it's useless ngl.

 

Most guide makers don't really know full details of the matter or are intentionally spreading wrong/inefficient info for those who are to lazy to understand the game by theirselves.
Tho, it doesn't really matter for them, since their chars gonna work anyway if they follow those guides. It's all about praticity.

 

I have 10.10.8 rn ...adding 1 or 2 when is need it
That let me in prof cap 190 .. since my prof lv is 184 is okei for now
