Black screen/Crash

    So I just finished downloading and created my character.
    But when I was about to start to actually play the game, it gave me a black screen, played the music for a while then force closes.
    I've seen a previous thread close to this problem and I tried fixing it using the method stated on it but it still does not work.
    What should I do?

    2gb to function w/o problems
    I use 1gb but I only crash in the main city, after cutscenes, and if a NPC joins my party
