    Too many parts to make so I'll quote the entire post and edit it with my opinions (they will be in green)
    Overall, huge pandering for swordies, but Asobimo seems to be delivering quite a bit now. Ah well, ain't complaining.

    The reason why Twinslash is now an option for reliable damage "in this changes" is because of that spiral air buff. Twin slash can be very powerful now if optimized to its peak.

    Stats: I'm still sticking to my STR 100 the go full ham on DEX. Or if you want, go 100% crit ratio and abuse spiral air + twin slash. We will see.

    Read the new description: it will be a self buff skill that can't be used in a combo so that means, unless it has a cast time, it will be quicker than previous Rampage (I think it will have the same animation as Reflex/Flash Blast).

    The thing is that Twin's crit damage increase is fixed, so using Spiral will not further increase Twin's effect. What DOES make it a more viable option is the damage rescale for offhand damage, which could make it a powerful skill at low cost.

    Sword fu basic combo gonna change from astute+trigger+tkick to astute+spiral+tkick.

    The purpose of this revamp is for the same purpose they revamped martial skills.
    Its to prevent players from sticking to one skill path and leaving some to be obsolete.

    Full skill and stat choice in my mind right now:

    Hardhit 5
    Astute 10
    Trigger slash 10

    Rampage 10 or Tempest 10
    Warcry 10
    Sonic blade 10
    Spiral air 10

    Sword Mastery 5
    Quick slash 5
    Sword tech 10
    DS mastery 10
    DS control 10
    Charge/parry 10
    Shadowstep 10
    Attack up 10

    Whack 10 (can be lvl.5)
    Critical up 10
    Safe rest 5
    HP boost 10
    Total = 170 (165 if your Whack's level is 5, you can add flash stab or holyfist level 1 as your combo starter/filler. I prefer flash stab cause it's quick. All skillsets are doable at cap 120.)

    Stats: I will stick to my "STR 100 and then go full ham for DEX until 255."

    I will take a wait&see approach because there's no point in speculating and build tweaking until we have the skills to play with.

    mixed feelings bout spiral air's flinch removal.. happy can have a decent no flinch and no tumble combo at 200mp using full consec. .sad coz I really like how it flinches moving mob/boss .. 2h getting old school full consec combo to see benefits of trigger slash improvement

    That is why it is in color red together with Tempest. Still not sure about it yet.

    I have mixed feelings about having Rampage.
    For a DW that solo's and tanks alot. Especially against bosses that inflict AOE Debuffs, plus even if Rampage's mp cost remains the same, casting over and over again and failing to use its full potential because of the multiple debuffs and ailments continuously being inflicted to you will render it useless.
    Not to mention more or less halved effects. which the effects maybe lower ampr buff compared to trigger and shadow. and the damage it deals.

    I think that it will be good for competitive DW. Not many people prorate thus neutral damage is going to have a large buff. The skill could very well make DW balanced if done right.

    I still have doubts on what to get between rampage and Tempest hmm .. I think I will just reserve that 10 SP and focus on what I already have utility/damage wise. I still want to get spinning slash 10 cause of the skill superiority damage and utility wise. TBH, this spiral air is my "I want Phantom slash to be like .." kind of skill. Less ticks, in exchange of moving/avoid waiting for that non-crit, evaded, missed or guarded phantom slash. I'm so hyped the moment I saw my ideal phantom slash, but in a better, 300MP Spiral air with crit damage buff and less pre-requisite skills to maximize skill point usage.
