    little side note:

    i wrote that Storm has 8 hits with 2x magic power.
    this may or may not be false...

    with a staff, Storm does 6 hits with 3x magic power.
    i can't remember if MD gets more hits or if it's also 6.
    i will try it again and correct this if necessary.

    EDIT:
    it's 6 hits with a 2,5 matk multiplier. the MD bonus is an increased radius from 4 to 6m, which also enhances the pull effect. =(^.^)=

    have you considered using zolban as an xtal for weapon (for the atk and matk +4%)?

    it's only removed from combos since it was changed from an attack skill to a buff skill.

    anyone have a video of building one? I wanna see someone build for this. Isn't full dex be best for it? what i was thinking that this build is slow and full dex would make cast much faster as you can reach 1k cast speed and using main force attack like tempest to do the job.

    hell no!
    even with 1k cspd, magic is not instant and tempest doesn't use cspd at all.
    also, tempest takes time to activate, it's not faster either.
    without STR you lack aspd and critical damage and without INT your magic powers are just poor.

    just like in the old times, there are 3 different types of Magic Swordsmen again =(^.^)=

    Hi there, newbie here tryna decide on my first class. I heard that we can actually mix-match different trees together and so I stumbled upon this guide.

    What's an effective stat distribution for the spell-blade? I was hoping to try to get as close as I can to Lightning(from FFXIII), powerful physical + good magic/debuffs. How should I approach this?

    the Enchanter has better debuffs than the Spellblade, but if you like the flashy sword skills like Sonic Blade, you can just match both together.
    i designed my 3 variants with a balanced skill set of single and multi target attacks; but as you said, you can mix and match skill trees together - so there are actually even more variantions ;)

    so, how about this?

    Special Request: Lightning

    This type also uses 1h Swords and a Magic Device. It combines aspects of both, the Enchanter and the Spellblade.
    In favour of Critical Damage, you should use more STR than DEX, i suggest a 2:2:1 ratio of STR-INT-DEX.
    Equipment is similar to the Enchanter - balanced physical and magic attack.
    The Skill selection includes Hard Hit, Sword Mastery, Quick Slash, War Cry, Magic Arrows, MP Charge, Chain Cast, Power Wave, Magic Javelin, Magic Lances, Magic Impact, Sonic Blade and 2 new skills.
    Spiral Air has a short delay after activation but is very strong and raises Critical Damage for a short time.
    Sword Tempest is the physical counterpart to Magic Storm. It's not as strong but much faster.
    (Sword Tempest can be stronger or weaker than Magic Storm depending on how many Critical Hits you get.)

    rampage uses normal attacks, which are physical and the 3 extra slashes are also physical. it doesn't use magic atk.

    if you mean "Additional Magic", it should activate but only once per attack.

    Yeah I ment the additional magic atk what a shame it's only once per atk I thought it would work something like aggravate when knuckles do the 2 punch animation it activates for both punches.
