2017 Christmas Event Guide

This will only include the December 2017 Xmas Event.
Quest: The Monster In the Frozen City

Go to Witeka Scorched Plains, skip through cutscenes and collect Burning Liquids (x10)
from Savarans and deliver the items to Agios in Navida City. From Navida City: Crossroad, start from Navida City: East
and follow the arrow leading to 1/2 of the frozen soldiers. The second soldier will be at Navida City: West.


After skipping through the cutscenes, you will be asked to select the materials to collect for the next quest.

Lv70+ Clear Water (x10)
Lv90+ Magic Charged Branch (x15)
Lv110+ Snow Crystal (x5)
*You can change difficulties for this quest by going to the light ball at Navida’s Relics.


After collecting all the materials, go back to Navida’s Relics and talk to Tenert.
Rewards: Lv70+ Snow Cookie x1, Lv90+ Snow Cookie(s) x2, Lv110+ Snow Cookie x4


Look for Virgo at Abyss of No Return, and look for Agios at Yorl Highlands.
Rewards: Lvl 60-80: Snow Cookie x1, Lv 80-100 Snow Cookie x3, Lvl 100-120 Snow Cookie x7

Collect Broken Shield (x5)
You can get Broken Shield from Pawn at Fort Solfini Lv50-70/Lv70-90
Collect Tough Iron Plate (x10)
You can get Tough Iron Plate from Greg at Wanderers’ Plains


Lv80-100
Defeat Scrader in Magic Waste Site: Deepest Part
Collect Broken Shield (x10)
You can get Broken Shield from Pawn at Fort Solfini Lv50-70/Lv70-90


Lv100-120
Defeat Scrader in Magic Waste Site: Deepest Part
Defeat Ifrid in Blazing Graben: Deepest Part
*You can change difficulties for this quest by going to the light ball at Navida’s Relics.


You’ve reached the last goal of the quest: defeat Baphomela.
You can bring: Adventurer(you), Agios, Tenert, Libera or virgo to your fight with Baphomela.
Rewards: Lvl 60-80 Snow Cookie x 2, Lvl 80-100 Snow Cookie x 5, Lvl 100-120 Snow Cookie x 12

Aren't the locations of Virgo and/or Agios different depending on which Difficulty you choose to do? The specified locations here is true for choosing to collect Snow Crystals.

BTW, there's an option of NOT choosing yourself to fight vs Baphomela in case no one is aware of it. As long as you don't choose "adventurer" when asked to choose from Adventurer, Virgo, Agios, Tenert, and Libera, you'll get a cutscene where you stay at the sidelines cheering while Agios, Libera, Virgo, and Tenert fight Baphomela. You get 1 Snow Cookie this way. #cheese

 

I could have sworn I was told the locations are the same. Then again, it was 2am.

Just to reiterate, despite how humorous my claim (about being able to be just basically a cheerleader on the sidelines) seems to be, it's true. o.o

By not participating in the fight will let me collect Snow Cookies faster. The Cutscene is basically Agios slamming into Baphomela. Followed then by Libera, Virgo, and Tenert doing bad-ass looking choreographed attacks on Baphomela. And then camera switches to you doing one of the emotes while Baphomela dies.

 

On the same hand, there's the option to solo, which I'd recommend because less spikes.
Was talking about this, and Bapho has Yelb Syndrome. I gets easier when it's supposed to get harder. In this case, less people on the field, less spikes to worry about.

 

Does it still give the same amount of cookies tho? Like if I don't choose myself to be in battle, will there be less cookies?

If you choose not to put adventurer in your party selection during the last quest, then Baphomela(what is this name???) then the other guys kill it in a cutscene, but you only get one snow cookie. merry xmas everyone!

 

Thank the npcs they even gave you a cookie for their hard work

No one still knows this, it seems, but Burning Liquid also drops from Red Jellies. It also drops faster, there are plenty of them in one spot, and in the very same location as Savarans (Fiery Volcano: Area 1).

Are Inzanio Cape available in this event?

 

Yes, but you have to fight the Inzanio in the [Lv50-70] area in order to farm for Inzanio Capes because area exclusivity. (Area [Lv30-50] is to farm Inzanio Plate Armor only, and Area [Lv70-90] is standard Inzanio that drops the Helm only.)

Spike is on Yelb? Well are you sure?
Spike attack is only by ecb actually, not Yelb.
Yelb is the AoE attacker.
