iPad will not update

trying to log in this morning after the update and my iPad will not update.

I click the icon and it gives the message that there is a new version. I click the button that pops up and go to App Store there is only a button that says play so I click it and the game launches and it goes to the loading screen “updating version” and that is it. It just sits there for over an hour doing nothing. I have to turn off the iPad and try again with the same result.
Any suggestions?

 

I know a fix

 

Go to appstore> updates> if toram is not there then pull top screen down to refresh update list

 

That should patch things up

 

No luck. It has been on the checking version screen for 3 hours or more.

 

U have to update the app for you to be able to play.

 

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling to make it work

It always happen on my ipad too.lol I always end up reinstalling it @-@
