Ramoage Dual Wield

Hey there!
Do you guys think a DW build with Rampage would be effective?

If yes, perhaps even adding hidden arm/additional magic and aggravate (how do these skills work exactly?)

Hidden Arm requires a dagger, which is unavailable to Dual Wielders.
Aggravate is exclusive to Knuckles.
Additional Magic uses your matk, which is also not used by Dual Wielders.
furthermore, those all have their own damage calculation and work independently from Rampage, so whether Rampage is active or not won't make any difference for those effects.

when Rampage is active, defence and dodge are set to 0, so you can pair it with Godspeed and Flash Blast without having to worry about their side effects
but it only works against physical and fractional attacks. using this against magic using monsters will be fatal.

 

What do Godspeed and Flash Blast do? If def and dodge would be zero wouldn't I be screwed?

So, this would be a worthy DPS build?
And what happens when save is used in rampage, are the attacks weaker or is it just not possible to use it in a Combo?

god speed increases agi and unsheathe atks (first atk), evasion atks
flash blast enhance unsheathe attack, perform counter atk with evasion

like what fox said, only works well on monster with physical dmg

And then for unsheathe atk. so far from dw skill tree. only charging slash is counted as unsheathe.

cant add save tag to rampage. its not longer a skill that u can place in combo.

but yes, rampage on dw is cool

It's just impossible to put in a combo. The best you can do is to use an Impact ender to reduce Rampage's cost to 3.
Also, Rampage's auto attack bonus only applies to the main hand's damage, and being hit with ANY aliment will immediately remove Rampage's buff (gotta make it clear because the devs PURPOSELY REMOVED THAT FROM THE SKILL DESCRIPTION).
Yeah, the only real point of using Rampage is for the cool points factor.

 

I made one of those before. Their DPS can be good, but you need to be in a party full of spammers or mages for it to work. Ultimately, DW rampagers aren't the best for DPS, but they are a lot of fun in my opinion.

 

Do the blade skill passives apply to rampage? or DW in general? Does the damage done by rampage increase by the mastery skill which increases the damage if blade skills?

 

I already try rampage in dw class, and its look cool .

 

Sword Techniqes only works on the finishing move, last time I checked. Sword Mastery and Quick Slash as well as all of the DW passives do affect rampage, but I don't know if you can perform an unsheathe attack with rampage active.

 

You can make the 10 autos Unsheathe. If you're against a boss, use Shadowstep or rely on Guard/Evasion.

How exactly do I make an attack "unsheathe"? By making a small break in between the auto hits?

 

If you're already in your battle stance, you can't make a Rampage auto Unsheathe unless:
- You use Shadowstep
- You use Shukuchi
- You Guard/Evade any attack
You MUST NOT MOVE OR USE A SKILL for it to work; just let the auto attack happen.

 

So would i need to use shadowstep before each rampage auto hit in order to make all of them unsheathe? Or use the other methods?

And from the 4 blade passives, only the first , second and warcry may be of use for me right?

 

rampage users and fus will be best buds with one raising proration for the other and vice versa.
