I probs didn't add, I'd need to find some variant of the build. Afaik, some people have made highly successful versions of this specific build but I'd have to see in action or make myself. Neither are quite happening atm

With that out the way...
Time to go over every build ever in Toram that does feasible damage and the pros and cons of each.

OHS:

Le Classic Knight: Sword and Shield. Lemme start by saying no build is better without a subweapon, except Katana, MD and THS. Oddly, this is one of the strongest of the OHS builds, benefitting from the high damaging skill Binding Strike's enhancement with use of shield. This is the new meta in tanking, but as a DPS thread why should we care about tanking? While it does have some high damage potential, it's easily drowned out by the strength of other DPS classes, and in all honesty is better as a pure tank. Even so, the DPS model using the formula of Str>Crt/Dex using Binding Strike as a primary DPS and Tempest or Strike Stab for a secondary DPS has a lot of potential.

SwordSnipe/GunBlades: Arrows and OHS. Ooh, talk about unreliable damage. They can do some damage, such as 100k snipes, but don't expect it. They try to do what they're not made to do, considering you're going for snipe dps. If you're doing that, raise your CSPD and come again. Can do MP consumption fairly well, but cant tank for their live because of Arrows killing all forms of defense and in turn resistances. Your DPS skills are Snipe (ew), Sword Tempest, and Strike Stab. Personally, a cool way to use this is by using the arrow as an ailment inducer and doing DPS via Tempest and Strike Stab, but that's up to you. Snipe isn't too bad, but just know since you're using a build with STUPID high stability, if your snipe is trash during one hit, it's almost always gonna be trash. Str>Crit/Dex is your set up.

Edge Edgeman: Daggers and Swords. Sounds classic and fancy. Buuuuuuuuuut they're scrubby from how you'd have to build with it. Generally, their crit is trash from having to use Dexterity for skill damage, since Gat Knife runs better using Dex and Agi over Str. However, they're redeemed by Amazing Throw and Mail Breaker, which saves them from total annihilation (though they're still annihilated). They're damage is fairly consistent but low overall. Status spree is there, and more efficient than arrows however. Skills here are Gatling Knife, Sword Tempest and Strike Stab. Depending on what your DPS is (Strike Stab or Gatling Knife) your build will be something like Str>Crit/Dex or Dex>Crit/Str respectively.

Sword-Fu: Debatably one of the best and worst the OHS group has to offer, the unholy marriage of Sword and Knuckles. The all time proration ruiner (though that's changing). On bosses that say proration is for pussies, they can dominate almost every other class, but if there is proration, a more tactical approach is needed. Loaded with a OHKO move that all Fu builds have and TK, they can hit high damage on crit builds. They have meh survivability, and almost always take aggro. Best skills are Shell Break, Triple Kick and Heavy Smash (aka when Shell Break procs prepare for anal partitioning). Stat spread is... Do I even need to say?

Our lord and Savior Edgy McDualious: Dual Wields are one of the most badass classes out there, being able to tank, dps and be a utility all at once even on a trash set up. Unfortunately, a trash set-up is still a trash set up and skill setting for this is a pain. However, they have good survivability, and can deal damage due to that wonderful thing called P R O R A T I O N. Still however, any quality Dual Wield will tell you outright that DW isn't made as a DPS Class. It just happens. It loses a lot of usage when DPS becomes the sole focus. Your skills (if you're ballsy enough to throw caution to the wind) are Phantom Slash, Tempest and Strike Stab. Also arguable that Twin Slash and Spinning Slash are also good DPS skills. Depending on build, Charging Slash can also be insanely stronk. Your stat spread is dependant on what your damaging skill is. Str>Crt/Agi is recommended for Phantom and Agi>Crt/Str is recommended for Charging, yet there's a plethora of other ways to build that more reliable sources can give

Sword Mage: Gtfo. Any mage build using a Phys weapon has trash damage due to the skill power decrease simply from not using a mage weapon. If you want a niche build, have fun. Want a DPS, it ain't here kid

THS

The Sadness that is Overcompensation:Since THS can't really have many builds I decided to go based on what skills are used. Tempest on THS is a standard for DPS. Not much can really be said though, most people know this because for a long time it was the only viable DPS option. Later came Binding Strike which could hurt but did a lot lower damage than Tempest. There's Rampage, which originally was viable but generally unwanted, then unviable, and now it's something anyone can use in a build whether it's a damage option or not. The flexibility of this build is high, being able to tank and dish out high damage dependant on build. Stat spread is similar to OHS, but Vit is also a very good option for the reckless ones

Knuckles

CRAWLING IN MY SKIN: God, anytime I say daggers I gotta make it edgy. Still, these are the best of knuckles that there is. Before I continue, you might be saying, "but <derogatory name>, aren't knuckles absolute trash?". To that I say, depends. While knuckles are bad in the past, the rising defense of monsters have made them godly. What does more defense have to do with better damage though? Knuckles are the punishers of high defense, with multiple skills based on making high def monsters hate having it. You will both chuckle and flex your muscles with them. Daggers are best because they scale best on Agi with skills like Gat Knife and Spike Dart gaining more skill damage based on this. Additionally, there is MailBreaker, which provides a chance to ignore part of the enemy's defense on an Auto Attack (which is what Knuckles are good at) Simply put, equipping daggers on a knuckles character makes defense an issue of the past, since you can just auto attack and shred it away. Then, Shell Break has rising damage based on enemy defense, therefor making even more pain come onto enemies with high def. The stigma to this class is overall low attack and crit, but with the amount of holes you peirce in enemy defense, you should be fine. Run Gatling Knife, Shell Break and Heavy Smash, and you should have a swell time. Agi>Crit/Dex is recommended, yet experimentally speaking, Str is a viable second despite not adding attack due to Crit Damage multipliers rising.

Shooty McFistalots: Simple nope because knuckles don't reach high enough crit rate or damage to have it be viable. Stick with daggers

Magic Hands: Oddly enough, this is viable from Knuckles having both high MATK when INT built and no loss in skill dmaage. However, not enough Mage Knucks around for a definitive answer

Halberd

Highest Grade EDGE: This is the truest dagger bath for Halberds. If you want high Gat Knife damage, you've got it, as this is all tie best for it, but... for the cost of a lot of attack. Main DPS skills of Gatling Knife and Strike Stab. Agi>Crt/Str for this build.

PoleSnipes: Why must everything snipe...? Either way, you're putting a definite yolo here, as Snipe has lowered crit rate, Halberd have nerfed hit rate, and Snipe without a Bowgun have even further stunted CR. I mean, when it hits and crits, it's a doozy, but its so yolo that I'm sure it's in its own tier of yoloism. At least you can grant ailments. DPS skills are Strike Stab and.... Snipe ofc. Str>Crt/Agi are your stat spread

Extended Edginess: Daggers and Halberd. Simply put, it is the ultimate in consistent and reliable dps.... for short runs. While they hit hard as all hell from their legendary Strike Stab skill, they're really bad at MP Regen and when a boss has high Def expect damage to drop. Even so, on generally squishy bosses, expect some INSANE damage to come out of your attacks. I can diverge deeper into the punish ray version and the spam version, but both can do consistently high damage, so going into that would feel redundant. Has better status than Arrows. Skills for maximum edginess are Strike Stab and... Yeah just Strike Stab. Stat spread is Str>Crit/Agi

Stab-Fu: Let's just say not everything needs to be a fu and this build gave me AIDS

Archer

Classic Elf: Bow and Arrow. With higher crit rate, better stability and higher status chance than bowguns, these are a much more consistent damage dealer than those frickin' Guns. However, your big hitter, Snipe, has a lowered crit multiplier than Bowguns, meaning the damage, upon Critical Hit, is lower. HOWEVER, with this build you're be able to achieve an always critting Snipe much easier. And as previously said, debuffs are much more plentiful, so you can use skills like Smoke Dust and guarantee yourself a Snipe hit no matter what. DPS skills are Snipe, Bullseye and Arrow Rain. Dex>Crit/Str

Magicky Shooty: Magic with either Guns or Bows. Won't go into it because idk enough about it.

Riot Shield: Bowguns and Shields. You wanna have that survivability tied in with a strong hitter? Look no further than Riot Shield, a build that has the ability to snipe while you're behind a shield. With all the weaknesses of a bowgun (lowered stability, crit rate, status) with the benefits of a bowgun and a shield (higher critical multiplier, hp, guard (if you're into that)). Your DPS skills are Snipe, Arrow Rain and Bullseye. Stats are Dex>Crit/Str.

SHOOT THE EDGE. Yeah it uses daggers. Will have to ask for builds for, since I haven't seen in action nor have I used.

Gun Kata: You have knuckles. You have a bowgun. Why not combine OP skill with OP skill? Because they're infamous for ruining proration, even worse than Sword-Fu. However times are changing. The build has become able to deal damage with lesser proration and aggro, with very little loss in damage. They're one of the most crit heavy builds however, making them not the cheapest. Your bread and nutella (because screw butter) skills are Snipe and Triple Kick. Stat spread is Dex>Crit/Str

Magicks

I might just outsource for info here. All stave builds are out of my knowledge, I just know some are good and some aint.

MD: Avoid em. The damage is generally trash, and lack of subweapon makes it further stigmatized.

Katanas

Subs are for Nubs: The strongest variant of the Katana takes the Subweapons and laughs at it. Using the two debatably strongest skills in the game and getting a damage boost from lack of Subweapons, this thing is a beast. It's said to be the strongest damage dealer in game, but like any build they're fallible. Depending on which OP skill you grab your spread is either Dex>Crt/Str or Str>Crt/Dex

The Almighty God of Edge: Katanas and Daggers. Generally unused so very little data on them

The Wanderin Ronin: Also known as Bowtana, uses mainhand Bow and Sub Katana. Not much info here either so ehhhhhh

Honestly really sad because everyone gets their panties in the biggest knot the second they hear anything about DW.
Thing is, I'm taking the majority of this from an unbiased view and I'm trying to make sure that this is accurate and factual.

No, they aren't made for DPS. They can be, but you lose all the benefits of being a DW. And this is where the strength of a class comes in. It's not how much damage a class does, it's all on how you use it. And this is why, despite the fact of me never making one, I looooooove tanks and supports. They keep yo ass alive and make yo ass thrive.

Strike stab on OHS benefits from additional dmg with Str stat's that are unique to the skill. As the damage multipler is enhanced by str.

I haven't even optimised 1h dagger atm, as I'm waiting for the level 150 equips (atk +8% etc), and I'm still Dex over str, with no player crafted gear to Max out Atk% and crit damage.
I could add an additional +20% atk, if I switched over a few xtals to Gui/york/grecia. And another +4% with power candy. Plus.. +14% atk with player crafted gear.

So that's +38% Atk below the theoretical roof for this atk on OHS atm. And we haven't even touched elemental damage.

I can spam this 1mp combo and out damage most 2H players eventually. As my mana regen and mana pool (1300-1500mp) is generally higher.

But the sad part is, this means meteor is somewhat redundant as an attack skill for 1h dagger. The highest I land reliably with a 4mp combo is around 300k. I can use my strike stab combo twice in the time it takes me to use a meteor combo on swift.
