Crit resist in Iruna..?

Greetings and salutations!

Iruna is more mature in terms of level caps, skill trees(?), and available bosses. This made me wonder are there crit resistant bosses in Iruna that has a higher crit resist compared to the bosses we have available in Toram today? Yashiro mom had me thinking that even with gespenst 2 and all the +20 crit hats and now high crit rate gear that resistance will increase even more. I hope your insight will help me decide if I should hoard Yashiro mom xstall for future use. Since the likelihood of collaboration events reoccurring is still unkown.

I'd use Yashiro's Mom xtal over Gespenst 2 just because of the extra resistance it gives :v

Me? Nope.

 

We have no crit cap in iruna the higher the lvl the higher the crit resist of the boss... Even with 500 crit stat you will still see some white dmg, but there's a catch, iruna also gets some crit dmg with crit stat...


And the biggest difference is skills in iruna doesn't miss... they even get skills that will never crit no matter how much crit rate you have...

then here enters magic crit or "spell burst" in iruna terms, cannot reach 100% even with the latest equipments, if my memory is right, last time i played you can reach 85%-ish spell burst with some ultra expensive set...

@Xiavu nope I haven't seen one yet.

@JerryRST I find both gespenst 2 and Yashiro's mom to be alluring. I prefer Gespenst 2 over Yashiro's mom though. The extra mp, cspd, and accuracy gesp2 provides to me gives more utility. While resistance is nice to have for the odd occasions taking damage can't be avoided it's situational.

@UfuLamb Having 500 crit rate and still hit white is insane! Thanks for your insight. Although only time will tell if Toram will have Iruna mechanics I'm leaning towards hoarding what I farmed for personal use instead.

@The Zero Nice If they repeat collaboration events in other games then the likelihood of events repeating here has a chance. Thanks to your input I guess I'll try to sell the drops and apps instead of hoarding them longer than I had planned.

 

No its crit "stat" and iruna uses a different engine, crit rate in iruna is more like the hit/flee mechanic of toram, no matter how high your hit is you will still miss

And the only thing i could think they would be adding is the stat cap release, and some other stuff to slot somewhere besides xtals, probably some skills to support evasion and additional magic/attack, skill wise its a complete overhaul, its better not to expect anything

Toram is trying to make a combat system that requires team work to move forward.

You'll never make a character that can solo every boss without risk. So the Godly crit spammers that you've come use to in other RPGs is over. You'll have to accept you're just another player, and not Kirito.

 

It's situational, once you've learned about how a boss operates. You can mitigate the issue. But in the context of soloing, I'm sure over time soloing becomes easier. Where your point in valid.

 

Well, considering I am a Lv300 or something Monk in Iruna, I can easily say NOT EVEN WHEN HAVING GODLY CRIT IT MEANS THAT YOU'LL HAVE AN EASY TIME.
I mean, I still die to Bernhardt and take over 8 mins to kill him once most due to Auto-Attack and Rush.

 

And adding to equipment the equivalent of Toram's avatar stats. I forgot what it was called. But you could get 5%(maxed for lvl 5) spellburst to place on an equipment and have it on your armor, weapon, additional and secondary additional that was just for looks. It was very expensive and most were very time consuming to obtain. The easiest one was from the very first boss, a turtle that dropped an HP up one for armor as an uncommon drop.

Ferzen :v Too bad neither Ferzen nor Altan was in Toram's Forgotten Cave.. Not even any remains of them :v Instead we got to fight a creature protecting its eggs (yet it summons its children to aid in fighting the player lol)

Welp seems like Iruna is a really hard game to solo. I'm still gonna try go further tho xP

At least Toram has better mechanics in terms of avoiding AOE attacks.

 

You CAN solo Iruna, you just need to KNOW what class and build you are sticking with and having at least some gears related to said build, not necessarily End-Game type gear.

 

The gears are quite expensive. I'm playing Knight lv 103 atm and I want to be a Gladiator. I have 30m ish and that's not enough to buy Legacy of Will or Bellow of Order. Also I can't sell items on stall since I don't buy the contracts. Maybe I should've built vit instead of agi? I do have Myrica wristlet.

 

Don't think I need personnaly to worry much about crit resist lol people focus too much on crit gear !!
But i think near enough 150 crit and 1984 atck on a DW is solid enough lol

...143 crit stat is a huge waist of atk power especially when 100 crit is so easy to achieve with gears...
