Buff Icon?

Can anyone tell what these signs are for? I have seen them for a while but haven't quite figured out what they mean. I usually get them now a days at the very beginning of a boss fight. Or while hunting monsters. Sometimes just one icon pops up. Sometimes two and sometimes these three.

 

I think I read this from a post somewhere but I can't remember which, but if I'm not mistaken the blue one is physical barrier, the red one magical barrier, and the yellow one fractional barrier?? Not too sure about the yellow one...but every time you get hit by a certain attack its corresponding barrier would activate and lessen the damage depending on how much barrier you have, after which it will disappear to reset again after 30 secs

 

those are for fractional.,physical and magic barrier. Notice that they disappear if u recieve a hit

 

There are also other buff icons out there, sneak attack now have one, back then i really have to count my attacks to keep check on my aggro(yah, go tango negate aggro)

 

Yeah I think this is the right one. Also the stat Barrier Cooldown + x% actually reduces the barrier cooldown, while if it's - x% it increases the cooldown.

 

yellow - physical barrier
purple - magic barrier
blue - fractional barrier

 

What is the function of that buffs?
And, where does fractional barrier come from?

 

Physical barrier: Reduces physical damage taken by the amount of the barrier.
Magic barrier: Same, but for magic damage.
Fractional barrier: Same, but for fractional damage. This one is in percentage though.
Barriers have 30s cooldown, and will decrease with the stat 'Barrier Cooldown + x%'. 'Barrier Cooldown - x%' actually increase the cooldown time :v
Ifrid and Mom Fluck xtal has fractional barrier.
