2H Ninja build

Just sharing a perhaps more uncommon build setup that is proving effective to get to 170 cap.

2hs, particularly the high AMPR types, typically run HUGE aggro combos. Taking the party 'tank' role all/most of the time, especially with def debuffs from rampage and berserk is rather risky, and restricts you from going all out with your (double) DPS combos easily. A very simple answer to this is to load up with all -Aggro gear, and let someone/ANYONE else take all the heat instead, so you can freely focus on DPS (and securing Attacker rank).

With this setup, so far I have *yet* to be out DPS'd by any other 2h in my party at Venena NM, even though I've dropped down around 300-400 ATK (by swapping out usual dps gears). Those pillars hit really hard, and its so easy to die there

Usual 2h skills, but maxing Trigger Slash, Rampage, Decoy Shot, and Finale (lvl1 only for combo ender). Personally I also have Sonic Wave maxed too

[1mp] - Sonic Wave -> Rampage (save) -> Berserk (swift)
[3mp] - Buster Blade -> Berserk (save) -> Warcy (con) -> Decoy Shot (swift)
[8mp] - Trigger Slash -> Buster Blade (smite) -> Impact (con) -> Meteor Breaker (smite) -> Finale (no tag)
[4mp] - Impact -> Buster Blade (smite) -> Finale (no tag)

Spoiler: Playstyle

Initiate with 1mp combo to get Rampage up (AMPR buff), from huge range too. 3mp combo to lay down Decoy. Spam 8mp double DPS combo as soon as you have the MP, otherwise Auto-attack. Alternatively use 4mp secondary DPS combo for short, ranged DPS when the Crit buff from Berserk has expired. Use 1mp/3mp combos to re-apply Rampage/Decoy/Berserk depending on situation

Hallucination spore can replace dark knight amulet, too. It has the same -25% aggro , +500mp and it also disables tumble

 

Note, just updated the gear section of this ninja build for even more delicious -aggro
Also, i haven't upgraded my ring into Hallucination spore yet, because i prefer not to disable tumble as i rely on it a lot on many of my other builds... So am sticking to my cheap cheap DK Amulet

I was looking for a 2h build and I saw this so I was thinking that you could switch the wep with the white day event 2h White Chocolate Eater since it gives -%100 aggro and you could focus on more dmg without focusing on trying to get more aggro reduction equip

Absolutely, this new event 2h is amazing for this style of gameplay. I got one too (with 417 atk) to enjoy later.

so if my aggro is -100%
does it mean that everything(skills+autoattack) would give 0 aggro??

 

Mostly, but a few exceptions. If you initiate atk on boss (even auto), you will have 200 aggro. Also some skills can't be bypassed by -aggro (like the 1st 300 aggro of finale skill).

Others can correct me if I'm wrong

 

Generally speaking, white choc eater weapon is “very ninja”

 

By generating a lot of aggro, you can get tank ranks without even having to make a specialized char for it xD
Also this build would way less useful if you are soloing, so strictly party only (or if you use defender mercs).
But it's a good build nonetheless.

 

I find this very contradicting to your contradicting build, but the skill already contradicts itself cuz "Decoy Shot gEneRatEs aGgRo."
But you named your build as Ninja and has a Bunshin, so this is a correct 2h build with the gears you have.

I'll be your 2h Semi Tank with Sanctuary and Take all your aggro.

 

With White Choc Eater (WCE), I'd probably swap to the following gear:
Wep: WCE
Arm: fc16+ (w/ hp xtal)
Add: bear hat (w/ atk xtal)
Spec: any (w/ zelbuse)

This loadout has -100% aggro, and exactly 100 crit so I can drop berserk/rampage now too (need to rely on speed pots instead though), and turn it into more of a hybrid char build (hello weapon BS! )

[FYI New Crit Calc: 25 (base) + 12 (WCE) + 20 (fc16+ arm) + 15 (bear hat) + 8 (zelbuse) + 10 (lvl 10 Crit UP & Two handed skill) + 10 (lvl 5+ crit food) = 100]

 

Lols my tiny stack of EBs will happily hand you over the baton

Ill take em, since i assume my heal spells will not do well anyway. .

 

Hope to see this build with kancho strike too since it fully utilize the white choco(like shoving that big thing back there)
Im looking for a low(or -100%)aggro ohs build to be paired with my tank pet(prioritizing on that kancho strike since the pet holds the front and pet heal is just 3sec livable cast time)
Yah it was odd but i wanna have the flexibility to swap between ohs and 2hs while maintaining a good ampr and stealth.
