Is Saber Aura worth the Skill point?

Cuz I dont really think it benefits much other then being immortal until ur HP runs out o-o

 

they said, if you took a hit while using that skill . you will not die.

Yeah it is true, techniquely ur immortal.
I only use this ability everytime im very much likely gonna die like for example, Felien mana explosion

I see, well, dont solo that boss. Its more easy to invite tank, let tank handle all felien attack.

 

I know I use it if accidently got hit by mana explosion

 

There's too many downsides to this skill.
First and most important, the HP drain increases too much and too quickly. Sure, you regain HP at the end of it, but this drain makes the buff much harder to maintain in an actual boss fight.
Second, the cooldown is based on how long you maintained it. If you managed to get 10 stacks, you'll have to sit 20 seconds of doing nothing.
Third, bosses now often use multihit attacks. This makes the "cheating death" effect of the skill rather pointless since the other hits can kill you, especially considering the previous points (hard to maintain = lower stacks = lower heal amount; that + multihit = dead).
With those downsides to the buff itself, the skill costing 900 MP and not being able to use it in a combo, it's pretty bad.
Hell, the buff is bugged: it's supposed to give you Crit Rate but it doesn't.

As for Mana Explosion, an alternative is to empty your MP bar before the countdown ends. The damage is based on your remaining MP, so having an empty bar means no damage taken.

 

I am gonna say this.
Saber aura can be used to its max potential ONLY if you have decoy on. If you do not have decoy or can not use it then its effect will be wasted in you trying to auto attack and get your mp back, you wont be able to abuse the higher accuracy or aspd for better skill spam without something constantly supplying you mp.
Based on that you can decide what to do.

Hmmm but still the HP drop is pretty ridiculous ^^'', thats why I didnt feel like maxing saber aura

 

just put lvl 1 on it and use it when a fatal attack is about to hit you, or use when traveling, it is much faster than dash xD

Thats a waste of a SP. If you wanted invincibilty you should just use phantom slash. Which gives wayyyy longer invincibility and way less mp cost

 

But if u use storm reaaper it also gives invisibility but, for some reason I died in the jump when felien mana explosion timer over

 

invincibility does not prevent indirect damage like poison/ignite/manaexplode/maze traps/quickaura/tenacity etc

 

So saber aura is best solution to avoid mana explosion death , other than having a tank in the party xD

 

I see. This is a side note but Ive never died from mana explosion. If you spam impact sc, you can empty your mp bar super fast and keep it empty even while decoy is attacking. Max damage ive taken from explosion is 1750 damage when my mp bar at 2

Ummmm, is saber aura bugged. I heard itd crit rate is bugged, but idk if the issue already been repaired

 

or u can use ps if u have infinite mp like me
