    He thinks decoy does not need a nerf too so we can say he is just like the devs that pretend they have a plan when its not a plan at all.
    All of his arguements have been "Everyone should adjust their playstyle" when thats not how a good game is made. A good game is one that adjusts itself to the player's gameplay, not the other way around.

    yeah of course i did, i chose it because i felt it would still be fun and i didn’t think the damage would be extremely low, i knew it would be low, but it’s low to a point it’s ridiculous. i’m not expecting halberd damage but i at least want to be near or on par with some other weapon. t4 skills doing 200-400k if you’re lucky is ridiculous if others are doing so much more, you get it? literally all i want is it to be less impossible to get to 2400 atk without +S tonfas or small tweaks in multipliers.
    the thing is because so many bosses are ailment resistant and that anyone can use the skills, we should at least have one good thing to us. but we don’t have much and it’s why you don’t see dps often— it’s very fun but there are so many disadvantages that people quit it

    Bow should get a range Limit like only 6-10m atk-range. Decoy should be limited to need the same crit-rate as players to actually work and be unaffected by all ampr gain skills excluding hunter skills.
    For pdef cut the hp-gain and extra aggro cause it makes no sense that hiding behind a shield attracts a boss more than a sword slaying him and supports should have a role in this game independent of gem runs.
    For Halberd cut the crit gain for Dragon tooth but remove the Penalty for strike stab
    Add physical pierce to rush so knuckles have at least one skill for high def bosses and make all interrupts in their skill tree for knuckle main exclusive.
    Lower skill constant for Finale in exchange for elemental advantage applying to it.
    Magic warrior-the whole idea of making Magic crit just seems not thought out at all so instead of crit dependent maybe make it tech dependend?

    Make knux rush similar to tenryou. :3
    First 4 mp hit gives a buff, the hits after are only 1 mp with motion speed up. °3°)

    Lower bonus aggro to compensate for higher mp cost(meaning more aggro generation). In the end it would still generate the same amount of aggro.

    of course it won’t but it still isn’t very sensible to make the t4 skills do such low damage compared to others, while some classes are doing 1m-2.5m quite easily and some closer to 600k and higher with decreases in mana cost per use while your t4 costs 500mp with no mana reductions and does just 200-450k even with a special weapon. it just becomes geared against you.
    if you play as a dps knuckle then you would understand that a small boost would go a long way and it wouldn’t upset anyone or throw anyone else off. put yourself in the same place if as if your favorite weapon was in the same situation, wouldn’t you want some kind of change so that you can at least enjoy it? anyways, those were only suggestions for a balance that i made. we can’t even scrape 500k without a special weapon and everyone else is able to do 3-10x higher with skills we waited equally as long for.

    Uh what? Most calculations are already done per hit. Sure, combo tags and crits persist because it's a skill but the point still stands. Not like the damage matters anyway. Also, I think the whole debacle with DECOY is a bugfest; in the end, you're just asking for a bugfix, and not an actual nerf.
    I... guess? I mean, that's a nice attempt to make INT and DEX for Finale and Daggers relevant, but it doesn't really change much, especially since we're so close to capping two stats (get LUK and INT GGWP) and the rest of the Dagger skills are irrelevant.
    Alright, you guys will be seeing the following question a lot: but y tho?

    And lemme add this: auto attack canceling isn't exclusive to a class: it simply depends on the animation and the Motion Speed. In fact, Brawlers are likely to be able to use it next because of their ASPD gains (considering devs are planning to raise the stat cap). Using an animation bug-turned-to-feature as an excuse to nerf a class that abuses it the easiest is rather silly, don't you think?
    Again: I guess? It's a buff, but is it necessary?
    Either raise it to 1.5 or round up DEX to 1. Doesn't change much, but pleases my OCD.
    But y tho? You're already fixing the main problem of Bralwers' with the above thing I mentioned, and Fus are already gimping themselves with taking AGI for Chariot and Rush. Why would you nerf them on top of that?
    BUT FURRYING WHY THO?!
    I was already pretty displeased at your first suggestion. The game already forces you to "100% ailment resist or bust" BY DESIGN, so nerfing Ailment Resistance without redesigning the whole ailment mechanic is making the MTL stat and a bunch of equipments and rerolled avatar stats COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY USELESS!
    But then the edit with Physical Pierce appeared. Why not nerf DTooth's Physical Pierce instead? It's the only skill that's going over 75%.
    As for Proto Clarity, further investment in Physical Pierce equips other than a select few can harm DPS. Also, it may end up getting outdated. Plus, who's to say Bralwers and other classes won't get their version of it in the future?
    And, most importantly, your nerf suggestion WILL CAUSE ME AND AYA TO BE UNABLE TO FIND THE DEF/PHYSICAL RESISTANCE OF BOSSES AND MINIBOSSES
    AND, IF THEY EVER EDIT THE EXISTING ONES, WILL RENDER OUR WORK OUTDATED AND UNSALVAGEABLE!

    While most of what we did was basically with the code itself, this is one of the few things we had to actually field test, find a way through janky proration rates + Ultra Instinct levels of Dodge/Evasion/Guard and differentiate DEF increases from other mechanics. Are you really okay with that sacrifice? (I warned there would be salt...)
    But y tho? Wouldn't it be better to rework the whole support rank mechanic?
    That makes sense, but those are really minuscule buffs if you want to make those skills relevant.
    Read Mail Breaker, but you also need to take into account Evasion is rather weak, due to it being ignored by a bunch of attack types, which most recent bosses are using in spades.
    If I didn't quote anything else, it either means I agree or I'm indifferent to it.

    Too lazy to quote the others for now.

    this is literally a dream thread which is made of suggestions, but okay ;)

    can you explain why katanas say low damage on them too but easily dominate the attacker role then? x.x
    anyways, almost everyone else on here who knows anything about what it’s like to play the class is mentioning the same wish for a tweak to atk on this thread. i repeat again, guess it’s too hard to have the smallest of wishes granted, granted that there are always tweaks to multipliers in skills. why derail a thread if i’m just dreaming? i’m making suggestions and we’re going to leave it at that. x.x

    aside from that,
    decoy is a bit busted but it’s not that bad of a skill since it’s one everyone can use it, not just one class. so it benefits all and everyone can have a chance at being strong and using skills. im new to it and like it a ton so far. free mp for all! :)
