Fandom universal law: every fictional character is bisexual unless proven otherwise, so it's equally good to ship them with a male or female character.
It's really childish to get angry because of this... and pretty normal to ship them because giving chocolates on Valentine's day is often portrayed as a romantic behavior in those cultures.

A shame I can not be the first to joke about Ruzart's "intense fight", but... I'd say the adventurer's relationship with Balft is special, doesn't matter if it's just as friends or something more. Another option... Lepage? I hope we see him again.

In Japan, girls on Valentine’s Day are expected that they give chocolates that they’ve bought or made to male friends, family members or work colleagues, as well as to anyone they’re actually sweet on and not just whom there romantic towards.
It's kinda like giving presents on Xmas.

The only thing official about L.Adventurer is that "he" (calling them a he due to their stance after the battle) is the Iruna MC who I guess died or something, hence ending up as a spirit of Noieverre (Not sure how will that happen, since currently Iruna is on literally "How to break your own history" mode with time travel and the MC being the "Observer of Time")

 

Remember the White Day celebration Toram has (on March)? It's not for nothing; it's actually a cultural thing.
White Day is a celebration where men who have received chocolate from women during Valentine's Day have to give back to those women a gift that is three times the worth of the chocolate they received. So yeah, if you have a girlfriend in Japan (by some form of miracle, but the advice works even if you don't), prepare to raise an eyebrow if you receive very expensive chocolate. And even if you receive cheap chocolate due to that obligation, you're going to have to pay back that gift; won't be too expensive, but still a pain in the butt.

Fun facts:
- One of the most given items in that day are cookies, hence why we have the Heart Cookie and cookie-related items during Toram's White Day celebration
- In South Korea, there's a follow up to both these celebrations on the 14th of April (White Day is on the 14th of March) called Black Day. Basically, anyone who has received jack during either of the previous holidays wears black, then they meet up at certain locations to eat black colored food and rant together about their lack of relationships. BASICALLY SINGLES AWARENESS DAY!

Also, this was an adventurer paring thing, you kinda went the NPC gah route.
