Guardian glitch?

Was farming chocolate ooze and we added a random DW to the pt not a single issue keeping aggro with my guardian before him. Very first fight casted my guardian combo but the DW still had aggro so I started using buster blade to retake aggro then used provoke twice with no luck. After next few fights I started popping 1-2 mana potions each round and just spam buster and provoke while hes inside my guardian but ooze just wouldn't budge an inch off this dude. I know both our connections were fine but you guys ever seen something like this before?

After farming ooze twice after this I'm thinking the dude might have been a hacker was starting to think maybe DW had a skill or passive that was bypassing Guardians stats but after farming with 2-3 other DW's I dont think that was it
