Anyone else get...

If the rollback thing is true, then I'm quitting toram. My account didn't exist back in December, plus I easily paid over $200 on gacha and just got past the level 150 threshold with no guild help. Just as well, I only got to enjoy those things for about 2 weeks before it's all deleted. It's ridiculous of them to expect me to restart from nothing with the threat of being rollbacked again looming in the future, because my impression of the game now is that the servers are bullocks and can crash again any second. I don't have the time or effort or money for this.

Now I'm reminded of why I quit MMORPGs years ago if this is what happens the month I decide to pick them up again. It sounds malicious but I hope Toram loses a ton of money and customers to somewhat recreate all the time and money that we lost as consumers. True, it's likely the bots' faults that this happened in the first place but postponing a bug that's been in the system for 3 months puts Toram in the red too. If it really was so unavoidable then we'd be hearing endless stories about this happening to other games too.

Tbh, the management team use backup data that they create 3 months ago. In fact, they more likely never going to backup data for a week or a month regularly and they just take this backup when they feel like to do it.
For something that you've been lost, just provide asobi-chan some of valid receipt history since they will consider to compensate about that when you lost because of their mistake (not your own mistake)

 

ssssso wth is happening? i just wanted to play again and i saw this o-o i just receive a pop up saying "failed to connect becuse of the maintenance" is that the same with you? o-o

 

This has been happening for a week or so just read their Facebook posts to see the endless progress being made and false hope :,(

 

Do they actually even compensate orbs you bought if they do a rollback ?

I'm not in the same boat as you per se since I've been playing since 2015. But I've gone through roughly $300 on orbs since Dec. 13th to March 4th. I used 4 glory gems and 3 Legendary gems during Megiston event to make over 80m which i then in turn spent to get my Synth to 4 lock and a lvl 1 hasso nappa star gem. I lost all those lvls, I lost all that cooking time as well as the massive changes I did to my land. I personally made a perfect 2slot +S full crit Katana that went perfectly with my oufit. It was my pride and joy since it's the only 2 slot weapon I've ever made. All others came from random drops. I just want my gems and orbs back and I will be happy.

 

I register in february ,that means no hope to restore my character ... wait till 14 march ,we'll see. If my account disapear ,rip toram.

 

I just uninstall and install it again and the same pop up for me too failed to connect due to maintenance

 

I guess it's the end of my toram life

 

How am I gonna transfer my character if the game is not even opening and they even gave the deadline for character transfer by 14 March wtf.

Toram will rise again albeit in maybe a rollback state. Regardless I’m still going to play because if you start a new mmorpg you will be regrinding again anyway. Like I said in the past it’s like regrinding a new game only with knowledge of the build that works for you. And one day when Toram does end forever all mmos do. We still going to cry we want our money back . You think that will be any different now? We will be compensated to the extent unknown. Plus they have a new IP on the way Pokebel aka Avabel Lupinous. They are trying real hard to prevent a roll back but it seams at this time inevitable. You can blame google bots for it, they basically said that was the cause. That’s why only Asobimo accts will work only for transfers. I ran my own NWN server for 3 years. Wipes and rollbacks are necessity at times. Corrupt data can travel from a log in acct which then causes issues. To many bots from unknown 3rd party servers. There’s an old saying if you open a door 10 times and get punched in the face by the 11th time you duck. Asobimo is ducking from excessive t-boting who knows what other data is on those servers, level designs, story content, new avatar items ready for release. All we can do is expect the worst but hope for the best. Either way once the servers are back up, even if I have to start my tank over, Toram’s Dwarven Defender will live again, and who knows maybe he’ll be twice as Dwarven as before!! YAR lads and lasses!

 

Good for you then, now do something more meaningful with your life now that youve been freed from the game

And those who say it’s a waste, did you not have fun doing it? Money can be remade, memories live forever. I understand it sucks losing money to a company providing a service. You ever went to a movie spent 25 on a ticket popcorn and a soda and the movie sucked? I have but am I going to complain to get my money back? Nope a futile effort still had fun with the people I went with. And even more fun trashing the movie with them at Dunkin, yeah that’s right I said it Starbucks sux! I prefer Dunkin

Your life is how you live it. Your always going to blow cash on something you regret. Plus I love trying crazy builds where else can you be an oni club wielding bikini model gothic hat wearing graveyard living hell bitch with a pet blob? So quit because of some cash lost? Ha! Over the years I’ve probably spent 2 or 3 car payments on this game. Am I upset I lost the money? Not even close. Still had fun doing it. I am however all for a orb shop that lets you buy the items you want instead of a slot machine box. Both have their merit but in the end of the day you triple your revenue buy letting people buy exactly what they want. Like Dark Chaser of Death Chest 10 orbs. I’d buy more orbs if they did it like that. And a few more for sewing needles to stat it. You think GM Sara peaks over here and reports back her findings? We can only hope
