Skill Rebalance thoughts?

That's been the nr.1 request for halbs ever since they came out.

 

Halberd in this case is more inspired in Naginata/pike wielding rathwr than knight with shield and lance from medieval

 

It Also came into my mind, but as time gone by, i also realize that halberd here doesn't represent as the "knight cavalier" but work as a "quick piercing spear" same as the famous beginner's hero(that wield spear) on MOBA game. That hero have great damage, quick response, and have passive that can attack fast and it also pierce on target but have (drasticaly)low defense in return.
I think thats how they make halberd here, not the usual one.

 

is that the reason why their battle pose just look somewhat gei? xD

Just imagine theres a troop of all toram weapon weilding character that lined up and suddenly switch to battle stance and there the halberd user pose like that (kinda epic fail) XD
all pose are fierce/intimidating except the halberd one XD

 

tbh i always wanted to make a halberd char but because of how the pose looks i just go "meh maybe some other time" XD.

it's like they are preparing for umbrella fashion show instead of fighting,the leg look so frickin weird.

 

Idk why they won't do it, I mean they can just add shield as sub like anybody else. This is supposed to be kinda free class game.

I see but as a proclaimed free class game. Adding shield ain't that much of a bigdeal. OwO They're just lazy to change the auto animation of halberd if they implement shield sub on it.

 

What? No. Halberds are OP already they don't need another buff.

 

I feel that the ASPD drawback of having a sub shield isnt a drawback when you have access to GSW. I would say its fine to not have halberds have shield as a sub. Plus also in most real fights a halberd would have awful balance if you did not use it two handed, along with the axe on the tip would be generally useless as one could not be able to provide the force needed to swing it without both hands.
It makes more sense to be able to two hand the weapon when you use it and default to thrown one handed projectiles when needed, a shield would throw off the balance. Though I do get where you're coming from.

 

Since the weapon is halberd and not spears, I think it is just right for them to not wear any shields. Halberds are kinda can openers in the medieval era where they are used to take down heavily armored knights. Much like dragon tooth which ignores defense. However, the combat pose is kinda let down.

 

Actually,halberd are used in conjuction with shield in past,especially on horseback.
Halb used to charge in on horseback,while spear used to keep enemy away

 

Lets make petition to change halberd's battle pose lol

 

male char uses one of the 'stab' skills, female char uses dragon tail.

the charging horseback weapon is a Lance.
the Pike is a shorter lance for foot soilders. it looks like a Spear, but cannot be thrown.
Spears can be thrown. some of them are specifically made for throwing, the Javelin and the antique roman Pilum.
the Halberd combines the spike of the Pike with the blade of an Axe. they were always wielded with both hands and never with shields.

 

Yeah a more sexy one!! hahahaha About halberds its more based on naginatas and spears so no shields for halberds

 

Also a thing to note is most halberd users have daggers as backups in case sombody uses a brain and grab the halberd in its woody parts to disable the weapon while in combat.

 

Nothing wrong with the halberd pose.
Leaning on your shoulder save energy.
Plus it makes your char kinda badass, like arrogant.
Every other weapon be battle ready serious and halb be there just chilling.

True, but for me.. the male char.. the stance, i just dun feel really well seeing a 'sexy' stance for a man.
In my opinion
Dats better for both male and female since its based on naginata
