For a farmer, is it better to...?

Is it better for a storm farmer use int > luk instead of luk > int?
Seems lots of mats nowadays require lots of damage to deal.

 

Go for Int>luk

 

Go Luk>Dex. Grab bowgun and sub MD instead.
Line up your shot(s) and then spam CF (charge 1 should probs be enough for most mobs). Use Maximizer to refill mp when depleted. Rinse and repeat. xD
Storm (and Dive Impact) works better in concentrated mob zones, but this setup works anywhere/everywhere, and fine solo too

 

If you want more damage to farm high gp mobs and you have decent halberd equips and crit rate go for luk>str, there's alot of luk halberd builds available on youtube now, plus the devs are planning to add "invincibilty" buff to dive impact which would help in case the mob you're farming evades or guards your damage

Is it really worth it to change from mage luk to halb luk? And is there anything that halb luk cannot do when compared to mage luk?

 

since halberds use physical atk, they have strong auto-attacks too, to kill the leftovers (if any).
but before making assumptions, let's wait for the rebalance (end of june) and see what we get.

 

They can’t get pt in luk mage farm zones, keep that in mind

 

they can miss (evasion) while storm is a guaranteed hit unless its away from the range of the aoe spell

 

Why not make 2 characters for farming. Mage luk for low hp mobs and Halberd luk for high hp ones.
