    Haven't seen any thread about the upcoming rebalance yet so I'll just make it. Lets discuss

    1 sec stop from decoy for non-bow is barely a disadvantage..

    For me, skills I'm satisfied with are Deadly Spear, Rage Sword, and Throwing knife

    Deadly Spear (100 MP) requires lv 8 (13sp to learn) for it to be casted instantly. This is an alternative Impact (22sp) for Halberd and 1H (including Dual). The thing is, it must crit in order to halve the next skill. Sure it has +100 crit on Halberd, and +50 crit on 1H, but you'll face a problem if the boss has high evasion or crit resist

    Rage Sword (200 MP) is really SP friendly (6sp) for 1H compared to Impact. It doesn't need to hit to halve the next skill. On lv 1, it only has 60 bonus aggro. Well I don't mind getting the aggro though. Already used to have high aggro as a 1H. I'll definitely choose this instead of Impact

    However, Impact is still superior. If you're using Deadly Spear or Rage Sword, 1 unwritten rule you must know: You should not spam, or else you'll destroy the proration. Impact is magic, can be casted from afar (both skills up there are close range). As a non-spammer, I'll take Rage Sword instead thank you

    And Throwing Knife, it has 0 MP on lv 10. Combined with this neutral proration, this skill is spammable. You can use this when you can't reach the boss. You can also use Throwing Knife(Swift) as a combo filler, or closer.

    Yup. It will happen only when the decoy got attacked by AoE. It's not enough to stop people from spamming

    1.) Throwing Knife. SENT AN EMAIL ON THIS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SHIT FOR 2 YEARS. I honestly didn't think they'd ever do it, but sometimes miracles do happen guys.

    2.) Rage Sword. Looks like a nice buff to a skill that was otherwise useless. Actually don't need to skill points into impact as a tank/sword user. It's an actual choice for them now.

    3.) Magic Skills: Let us hope they are strong and can push Mage's back into relevance. Also, hopefully didn't front end all of the power into Finale and made all of the other skills viable alternatives in their ideal scenarios.

    4.) Dragon Tail: Cool. Makes staying at half HP far more feasible and boost the skills usefulness without increasing power.

    5.) Dive Impact: Neat, we're Dragoons now. Jokes aside, this is a pretty nice way to increase your own sustainability while also increasing party damage.

    6.) Decoy Shot: I'm not sure what this actually implies.

    7.) Magic Charge: Ehhh, useful for everyone that has 1k cspd. Neat?

    8.) Magic Sword skills: Hopefully they didn't screw up by making all of them stronger with 2h than with 1h.

    9.) Traps: Guess i'll give these a shot and see if they power is worth setting them up now.

    10.) Everything Else: Depends on how high these increases are. If they're not high, those skill will still be second to everything else

    11.) Shining Cross: Hrrrrm.

    Kinda wish they touched up on the Priest skill more. Give Bless and Advanced Bless some buffs or synergies with Knuckles.

    Regarding magic skills, looks like dev only buff the skill multiplier and do nothing regarding the magic system.
    So we can conclude that,
    -finale still consider as Neutral damage skill and can't gain element from the weapon ( unless using stronger against element %).
    -Magic crit still useless
    -Magic Burst still follow the rule of Cast time reduction base on the number of magic skills use before it and can't be cast without using bunch of skills before it coz... Still has long casting time.
    -no changes on any of skills effect

    Oh well... Getting excited over the magic rework and putting too much hope on Dev are proven wrong(for me)

    All they did was raising their powers.... This doesn't solve any of mage's problem.

    Stop’s a status effect, it means decoy shot’ll interrupt some AoEs

    Even if says it stops for more than 5 sec.
    People can recast for less.

    Lets see if Shining Crosz adjustment does the job.

    IMHO magic skills are good as they are. If melees' abuse of Decoy Shot are not very effecient.
    I mean just look whats happening with DT with full on GSW and WCOS

    Uhhh it's not about [Stop] status ailment. If the decoy got attacked by an AoE, it will be stunned for 1 seconds until it can resume it's attack

    Lol I wonder how much can ppl do on Gespenst II's full spike

    Why not try staff MD? Magic deals more damage with staves.
    Weaken still needs advantageous elem for crit to proc. You would need a whole set of elem wepons and Md.

    They should stop buffing halberds already. It's been the strongest class for some time, and somehow they felt that they should buff it even more.

    Shining Cross.. Hopefully the nerfs will weaken it enough, cuz right now it's too OP. Or just remove Proto Clarity from the game. Or alter its stats.

    Decoy. Needs more nerfs, both for bow/bg and non bow/bg. The planned nerf won't be enough to kick it off the "broken" tier.

    Throwing Knife is just.. Ugh. Out of all main weapons which could use dagger sub, of course it has to be halberd who gets the most advantage out of this change. Now they won't even need crit rate to prorate.

    Magic tree.. Just boosting the power wouldn't be enough.

    Backstep is good. Fortunately they're not gonna make it unusable if you're inflicted with slow/stop (they talked about planning this before in a livestream).

    Rage Sword could be a good alternative to Impact. I might find it useful for my 2h or doowew.

    Traps? Garbage. Dark Energy skills? Meh. Magic Blade? Meh. Holy Fist, Holy Light, Shield Cannon, Binding Strike? Meh.

    Whatever.

    The Throwing Knife one. After reaching the max level, it wont cost any mp or it will cost the same (cost 100mp)?

    Well for mages complete rework was too much expecting from asobimo at least they inc skill power the question is how much

    I hoe that the dammage increase of magic skills will be able to compensate for their lack of crit
