I like this game, it has tons of fun stuff and responsive dev team , BUT....
it is turning into endless boss kills with shitty drop rates for under powered gearď
That is not why I play mmo style games. There needs to be more.

There are incentives to spend money in the game (avatars, piercers, fairy sewing), but they don't really give any major advantages. Besides, this game doesn't have any real form of competition, so it isn't pay to win.
Alchemia was great, but it's grindy. Requires a lot of grinding to progress through the story and open up new maps. And the combat system is somewhat boring. But the gacha isn't really that bad I guess. I do feel like I should get back and replay Alchemia. SAOIF on the other hand, is just grindy and heavily gacha based for the skills.
I didn't notice the graphical updates, but I did notice some changes in story dialogs. Dunno, but IMO some of the dialogs they changed made it weird. Would've been better if they didn't change certain parts.
Idk, but aren't most MMOs focused on grinding? Maybe auto MMOs are better for you xD

I give myself motivation to play by taking breaks and letting the new content pile up. I've played since beta and I do tend to find the middle-endgame content to be boring when you cant really progress much over time. I give myself time to let things pile up while im not playing to let myself kinda have a similar feeling to what I had before when I started. I like having lots to do and it keeps me invested so I can feel like that kid who has so much to learn in the new game they found.

Overall, Toram isnt that good of a game but hell is there a lot to do. The problem is how many resources it takes to do it, and how much TIME it takes to. I would love this much more if things were less player hostile, but I also like it because it forces me to persevere. I personally want that sweet spot. Toram couldve been the most beautifully crafted game on the play store, but when you look at the play store there really isnt much to compare the game to in terms of quality because most of the other games are just bad.

My only motivation now, is to be the oddball in the game who makes the most off meta builds and find ways to beat standard meta builds.

hey what about rapidly hitting impact with gsw and decoy for ranks so we may feel superior to others in a farming game.

The game is hot garbage which I finally realized after a nice lonnggg break with my sweet sweet MH4U u.u

I have been grinding mindlessly for thousands of hours and to what real goal? Why?

There is no in game content to test your strength on unless you just want to flex on random int nubs and just kill bosses that take 40 seconds and then slowly MP charge after

You start to make your own artificial content because the devs suck at making a decent game. The only real satisfaction I get from the game are gem runs and ult bosses. And for ult bosses I usually Tank for where as gem runs require real money(and I despise spending money on this game). And not to mention ults pretty much require certain classes (unless you make a solo 2h character because that's the most fun you'll ever have)

Toram is just a bad habit for me that I was bored of long ago and the only reason it still has a hold on me is because of the time I spent and the connections I made.

And besides most of the people you meet are toxic assholes and I can even feel it spreading to me after such a long time.

I've been around since 2017, started just after the first anniversary. To be honest, the game could have been way better, without changing much. I only stick around because I've made a couple of friends who I'd hate to lose, and I want to see how the story ends.
I'll also be honest, if someone took this concept(anime MMO with total freedom)a made a similar game for PC, they could have a major success(if they know what the f they are doing which aso clearly does not).
I've joined lfps, they ranged from the meh to extremely toxic in the early days, now they're just meh, but it isn't unusual to run into a mod user, which is not a good sign.
As far as I'm concerned anyways, toram is little more than a dress up game with a large social circle.
Oh and for people who want to play an actual MMORPG, get a PC.
Mobile is best suited for playing in bursts, which usually ends up in shitty MMORPGs.

Upcoming events like 4th Anniversary, which may be delayed or worse, be canceled

You know, I kinda like playing to see what Aso messes up next. Either in balancing their game or just breaking it even more.
Its kinda infuriating but funny, studying game design and seeing something that takes all of what I learn and flips it into the garbage.

Its why I consider Toram more of a "break your character as much as you can" game over a "balanced mmo with cooperation and nuance" game.

"The Melting Pot" a play written to re-enact the Sofya Modder Trials. The play has themes of gaming culture, manipulation, and looking to a higher power to cleanse the world. Hysteria clouds Sofya city, as players look to one another with cold dead eyes for the slightest sign that they have manipulated the system for selfish benefit. Follow the lives of the characters in the world of Toram as they slowly realize the threat looming over them, pointing bow and sword to each other's throats to feel the security they desperately need.

Yo, I kinda feel like writing this now, even though it was a joke. (Parody: The Crucible)

I take breaks in between. I keep somewhat active in events going on but I found going on for only food/a small chat is all I need between events

Toram is the best social mmorpg there is.

Think of it like that and you'll be fine. Good gear and xtals are just for showing off.
